the water taxi company was accommodating and flexible, they allowed us to change our pickup time to an hour later than the original booking time
We had a excellent experience about the transport from the Hotel to the cruise port thru Grand canal.
All went very smooth - on time, etc. Others on the boat were dissatisfied that we were going to the Cruise Port and they were going to the airport. It added another 20 -30 minutes for them.
I would totally recommend your services to anyone needing to go from Venice to their cruise ship. It is a great way to say goodbye to the beautiful city and begin a cruise. You feel like a movie star with door to door service. Our hotel Hotel Monaco was very close to the pickup point and direct to the cruise ship.
Punctual, good price, very friendly, helpful driver, comfortable vehicle, conservative driving
Excellent way to leave magical Venice. Punctual personal pickup from our canal hotel and a pleasant swift ride with a small friendly group of 6 was the way to go to meet our ship for a first cruise avoiding the stress of not boarding on time.
Excellent! The transport company faxed instructions to our hotel advising us of the meeting point and time. The transport was on time, helped with our luggage, and off we went. There were only eight people with luggage so things went very smoothly.
Worked perfectly. Driver was on time, made one additional stop and then off to the cruise pier. Only advisement I would give future riders is there is no air conditioning so in the Summer it is very hot.
The water taxi showed up right on time. The driver was courteous and helpful in loading and unloading luggage. The trip to the ship was pleasant and gave us a nice farewell view of Venice from the canals. Will use this service again without hesitation. John M NC, USA
water taxi was on time and took us to the cruise port easily and efficiently
EXCELLENT. Water taxi arrived on time at pick up point just outside our hotel and then set off for the cruise port. We had paid for a shared taxi to the port but picked no-one up and so had a private transfer at about a third of the cost! Can't get any better than that.
This is the perfect way to travel from your hotel to the cruise port.
Great, on time. We picked a great hotel so the taxi was right in front so not a lot of walking to the taxi. The taxi service contacted us about the time for the pick up with plenty of notice.
Everything worked as advertised. We had no problem. Everyone was friendly.
Excellent way to get to the ship quickly while seeing Venice one last time!
Confirmation process was a snap. Company sent a fax to our hotel confirming our pick-up time. Pick-up point was very close to our hotel near the monumento. Plenty of room on the boat for both passengers and luggage. Easy to get on and off the boat. We heard horror stories from people who had travelled by water taxi before, but these were not true with company used by Viator. The only issue with shared transport is if people along the route are late. This happened to us, but since our boat was not leaving until evening, it did not really affect us. Drive was helpful and friendly. Helped us with 4 bags on and off the boat. Again, a pleasant surprise. Worth the money
Water taxi was on time and driver was professional. Did not charge me for my extra bag. Pick up and drop off location were convenient, we didn't have to walk too far.
What a great service Viator is. We were dropped off at a most convienient spot, assisted with information as to where our hotel was. Our baggage was handled well. There is no better service than Viator I'm sure.
Worked very smoothly. The boat driver was on time and we actually were able to depart before the designated time because all parties were present. I think we shared the boat with three other couples. The only slightly confusing thing was that you are given a confirmation with a map and told to report to "Todaro's Pier" for your transfer. We walked over there the night before to make sure we knew where we were going, but there is no sign that says "Todaro's Pier." We asked around and were told that one of the water-side cafes is called "Todaro's Cafe" and so it's the pier quite near that. It would help if the tour company would put up a sign with the name of the pier on it so you don't have to wander around confused. But we managed to find it and all was well. They take you (and your luggage) to a pier at the cruise ship terminal that is shared by all the cruise lines. We easily found the Princess Cruise representative there, turned our baggage over to him and then lined up for a shuttle bus that took us to the terminal building. All in all, I would use this service again in the future.
