The trips organised by Viator were very exciting, entertaining and informative. Venice was a fabulous experience for me and my girlfriend and we would like to recommend the place to all perspective visitors. Also, if you book with Viator you do get great deals compared to other websites.

This was an excellent tour, only 8 in the group, with a guide who spoke fluent English and knew her history of Venice thoroughly. She was able to answer all our questions, and showed us fascinating backwaters of Venice, away from all the crowds. Excellent value, thoroughly recommended.

Primary reason for signing up was to skip the line for St. Mark's, and for that the tour was worth it. Wish we had been able to spend just a bit more time in the basilica. It was very, very rushed. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable but so melancholy about the problems of Venice--cost of living, condition of buildings, etc.--that my spirit was a bit deflated.

This tour explained a lot of how Venice became a city and the people who created it.

We explored the side streets of Venice, a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Our guide was great. Headsets are used by the tour guide so you didn't have to push to the front to hear her. Great idea.

We were late and one of the tour folks waited for us which was very nice. However, the tour of the Rialto Bridge was just looking down the canel at the bridge about the distance of 3 blocks and the Bridge of Signs was explained to us and we were told to look at it as we passed by on our way back to our ship! That wasn't what we paid for!
