The guide was native Venetian who led us through some less known alleys. He seemed to be interested in civil engineering and house renovations. Walking tour lasted about one hour 15 mins. There were about 20 participants and not very crowded, so we all managed to gather around him and heard his explanations. Gondola ride lasted about 30 mins., we went through small canals around St. Mark's square, six persons per gondola. The gondola ride was nice and smooth, lovely experience! My wife liked the looks of the gondolier.

I really enjoyed the gondola tour, it was AMAZING! The walking tour was not as much fun, but it was okay.

I'm glad we booked this tour if for no other reason than drinking the best hot chocolate I have ever had! I would never have ordered the hot choc. otherwise and I would have missed out on this treat! The tour was ok, I did like going off the beaten track and seeing sites we otherwise would not have seen or known about. The Gondola ride was not worth it. We were with other couples, one of them were not able to sit next to each other, and the gondolier acted as though he were a little put off by having to take us around.

Enjoyed the walking tour, going off the beaten track to see some of the more unfamiliar sights. Hot chocolate stop delicious. Gondola ride entertaining, especially the traffic jams. Would recommend booking online and paying before you arrive in Venice.

The gondola ride is a 4 star, and so much easier to have someone else haggle for you rather than wondering if you're going to get ripped off. The walking tour guide was very knowledgeable, but he took us way off the beaten path instead of acquainting us with the major sites. Better for second or third timers. I still know nothing about St. Mark's Square but a lot about where the horse staircases are and the good hot chocolate spots.

Had wonderful time walking and learning about Venice. Would not have found out this information without having a local guiding us.

Our tour guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable since she is a Venetian. The gondola ride was amazing, well worth getting this tour package as renting one yourself is over 100 euro. The hot chocolate stop was great, we got to chat to the others on the tour. Definitely would recommend this to others visiting Venice.

The trip was cancelled on the original day due to rain; however, we turned up the next day and it went ahead as planned. So it might be worth planning this for the beginning of your trip to Venice, just in case. The guide was very good, and the gondola ride was worth doing as it was the cheapest way to experience one! Worth staying near the front if in a large group to be able to hear more easily! Would recommend this trip.

Our guide was great, and being a local she had lots of inside Venice knowledge to share with us. The gelato was fab too!

A good overview of Venice if you only have a short stay as we did. Our tour guide was good and the ice cream at that stop was delicious. The Gondola ride is for six so if you are looking for a romantic ride this is not it. It was the Gondola experience and was just fine as such.

It was a nice gondola ride, which to me was a "must do" in Venice. There were 2 annoying girls in the walking group, so my friend and I had to make sure that we were not immediately behind them and would fall outside their group of 6 for the gondola ride. I do think prepaying was cheaper than paying once you're there though.

This is definitely a good value for the money. Our tour guide was very interesting and knowledgeable. She took us places off the main walkways that we would have never known about otherwise. The ice cream was a nice addition; however, I thought we were going to have a choice of flavors and did not. My only other negative comment about this tour is that this was my wife's and my second honeymoon, and because they put 6 people to gondola, they wouldn't let my wife and I sit together. Very disappointing!!

Walking tour was unusual. Went though many smaller side streets where we would not have walked. Gelato stop was delightful, and gondola ride was unforgettable. I wish they could include a small serenade on gondola; would make it so much more worthwhile. Tour guide had many tidbits, which made it interesting. Not too tiring of a walk.

Interesting walking tour with a great guide, and gondola ride was fun - absolutely worth the money. We could have skipped the ice-cream break, though, which to me was just a waste of time, at least in September.

We definitely thought we'd had value for money. Our guide was excellent, funny and very knowledgeable. We felt that we'd learnt much more than if we'd read a guidebook from cover to cover. Plus, the gondola ride was great and by far the most inexpensive way to get on a gondola!!
