Excellent trip. Guide very knowledgeable and friendly. Made the tour very interesting. Good combination of gondola ride and walking tour.
Great tour. Not for those who can't walk relatively fast. A couple of people in my group gave up due to physical requirements. That said, most people can make it.
Excellent! The guide was very nice, easily understood, etc... Good walk, 1:30 - 2 hours. Gondola ride was nice - did the private 2 person ride - well worth it if you're a couple that wants to be alone. The gondoliers do not sing or provide much tour info (I don't think ours spoke much English - and to be fair we spoke even less Italian so he did much better than us!) but we didn't really expect or need it and he was really nice for how little we did communicate. We had a bit of drizzle during the ride and our gondolier gave us an umbrella. Glad we chose the nighttime tour/ride - no crowds to contend with on the walking tour. Waterways less crowded and less water taxi traffic at night. Just a much more relaxed and romantic experience. Venice is beautiful at night. Recommend going to St Marks Sq after the tour for gelato or late dinner and listening to the small orchestral ensembles.

This was amazing. We discovered the other side of Venice on foot. Our guide was very informative and very passionate about Venice. The highlight was taking the gondola ride at twilight time into night, truly spectacular!!!!!!!!!
The venice by night tour was very enjoyable and informative. The private gondola ride was nice however it would have been nice to have someone available to take a photo of us in the gondola, also our gondolier was using his cell phone and wanted to smoke as we were riding.
This was a wonderful tour, especially the gondola ride. Elizabeth was engaging and showed us what life in Venice was like.
Best trip in Venice! Got to go places the average tourist wouldn't go and the night gondola ride is a memory I will always treausre
This tour takes you to places you probably wouldn't walk through normally and our tour guide, a Venetian and very knowledgable provided lots of interesting information about the history and nuances of the place. Thoroughly fascinating and enjoyable.
Lovely, and its amazing to view venize at night.... The guide is perfect and friendly.... Definitely recommended
The guide from Dark Rome - Andrea was excellent and it was thrilling to be shown through all the small streets, over bridges and land up at the Gondola ride which was a perfect end to the first night in Venice.

The tour was very good, we got a lot of information from our guide, and we liked walking around the small streets and alleys, the gondola ride was nice but we did not get the full experience of having a gondola rider who would sing for us, it was pretty much the only thing missing.
Excellent! The tour guide took us on a walk that explained so many fun and interesting things about Venice that could never have been learned on ones own or through books. He was fantastic and well worth the price! The gondola ride was fine too. I imagine they all depend upon the gondolier.
This was great! Got to learn about things that I would have never known otherwise
