Excellent tour and guide, good guided portion and then plenty of time to see more on your own.

Claude Monet's house and garden at Giverny were so beautiful that we forgot about the long walk from the coach parking lot. We got lost on the way back from the house and almost missed the bus. Fortunately, local residents were very friendly--and probably used to lost tourists!--and directed us back to our pickup point. Our guide was very professional and smoothed all ruffled feathers. Lunch was at a big restaurant near Versailles. The food was good, although it was a set menu. Versailles was packed with people, but our guide managed the group very well with headsets. She made sure we visited the gardens while the fountains were turned on. We couldn't have seen and done all the things we did if we had been touring independently.

Amazing tour guide! She was entertaining, able to answer some of the most obscure questions, and obviously knew her history. Very glad we signed up for the full-day tour as the gardens at Giverny are stunning, and Versailles should only be done with a professional guide.

We had a terrific tour guide who had a wealth of information. With this being our first time in France, we thought the experience with our guide was definitely one never to forget. Just a little gripe with lunch: we were served fish, and thought a choice may have been better. Thank you again, and we would recommend any tour through Viator.

Great tour, a little long at Giverny but not terribly long. Both places are sights to behold and not to be missed! Guide was patient and easy to understand. I recommend this tour, our group only had about 20 people so it was really manageable.

I have been very interested in the arts since I got an A in a class at USC. I felt so privileged being in Monet's house and garden knowing that that place was his inspiration and his most valuable masterpiece of all. The palace was simply amazing!! Walking on the grounds of the palace was an out-of-body experience by itself. Knowing that it was once lived in by monarchy!

This was a great tour. The bus is very easy to find, right across from the Tuilleries Metro Entrance. We left promptly at 830. The guide pointed out many interesting things from the bus in English, French and Spanish. The bus trip was about 40 minutes to Giverny. We parked and walked a short distance to the entrance to Claude Monet's house. The garden was beautiful and amazing in mid-April. Tulips and flowers everywhere! Really much more beautiful than I expected. The house is in great shape. You could easily imagine the artist in his workshop. We were given about hour and 40 minutes to wander about, and the lily pond and Japanese bridges look exactly as they should. Such beauty! There is a small cafe where you can sit down and eat, or buy a snack to go. Good coffee. Then back to the bus and off to Versailles.
We arrived at 1pm. Once there, you eat as a group at a restaurant in the town. Lunch and wine are included in the price. You cross the road and have about 80 minutes to explore the Gardens. They are so huge that you will need every minute, but it is enough to poke around. Such a grand scale! The tour of the living quarters is very well done, with headsets so you can hear your guide many groups here. The Hall of Mirrors is a highlight. Wow! Once done, a quick ride back to Paris on the bus, and a very wonderful day, arriving about 6pm. I recommend this tour highly.

Adding an extra person to our tour proved to be no problem for the cheery counter staff in Paris. Our guide was excellent, and the tour ran like clockwork. The lunch at Versailles was very appropriate, and the headphones linked by radio to the microphoned guide on the palace tour meant we could here every comment she made.
