What You Can Expect
Begin your tour with a ride through Versailles Park. Glide along the Grand Canal of this UNESCO-listed site, listening to informative commentary from your guide. See attractions such as the Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon – Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette's private retreats, respectively – as well as the Queen's Hamlet and the king's stables. Your guide will point out other notable buildings as you ride along.
Stop for views of the Versailles Palace, where you can take pictures while you listen to your guide talk about Louis XIV's visions of grandeur that compelled him to develop and enhance this extravagant palace.
If you choose the 3-hour tour, your guide will also lead you through the city of Versailles, where you can see the Antiquary neighborhood and the 18th-century St-Louis district. Drift through the lively market square to see how different life in the town is from life at the palace.
After the Segway tour is over, you are welcome to visit the Palace of Versailles on your own (own expense, palace is closed on Mondays).

A fantastic addition to our day at Versailles. A perfect way to encourage a 12 year old around the park though I have to say the adults loved it too. A lovely guide who added some colour to our tour. You see the Trianons and farm from the outside but can go in after the Segway tour if you want. A real highlight and the fun balanced out a wonderful but solidly cultural experience in the palace in the morning.
This was a lovely tour. It was nice to be out and about on the segway in the Versailles Gardens.
Excellent tour. Our guide was fantastic. Very informative and friendly. Patient with my children who were on a Segway for the first time. We learned so much about the palace and gardens. Don't miss Marie Antoinette's Hamlet! A must see. The whole family agreed that this was the highlight of our trip to Paris.
Using the segway was a lot of fun, and our tour guide, Julian was fantastic!
Great tour of Versailles grounds. Our guide, Cyril, was able to explain so much about the history and background of what we were seeing. The Segways were such fun, a quick lesson from Cyril and we were off! My son thanked me multiple times for setting this up, and I am sure this would be at the top of our list to repeat when we go back. Great family outing, highly recommend!
great tour. Fun with segways. good guide - with funny questions.
Really good fun and a great way to see a larger area such as the gardens at Versailles.
Really the best way to see the grounds of Versailles and the exterior of all the buildings, as well as learn the history of Versailles. Outstanding, fun tour!
Such a fun time! Technology and history all wrapped up in one experience. Nothing beats getting to see all these beautiful sites without the strain and tiredness of trekking all those kilometers. It was also fun to watch those on bikes look onto us with envy. LOL. Our tour guide was very informative, funny and entertaining. Highly Recommend it!
We had a good time on the Versailles Tour.
Although we arrived late for our pre-booked appointment, the tour company were proactive in contacting us and rearranged a later time for us. We truly appreciated their flexibility and great customer service.
The location of the tour company is conveniently situated close to one of the palace gates. At the start of the tour, we had good instructions on how to use the segway, and the guide who was very friendly and helpful kept a keen eye on our safety for the duration of the tour. We learnt a great deal about the Palace and its related history. Thank you Mattias! I would certainly recommend company for those who'd like such an experience. It was great fun!
