Versailles was 1 on my must-see list in Paris and it exceeded my wildest expectations! It is absolutely breathtaking. I'd recommend going for a full day, if possible, but I was able in my half-day to see a good part of it. I did not get to see as much of the gardens as I'd have liked and the gardens are almost an entire village themselves. The tour driver was knowledgeable and helpful, and it was a treat to be collected at my hotel, but I think the price of 74 euros was a bit steep for what we got. Had I gone on my own, it would have cost about 25 euros, so that's a big difference to pay for a van ride since the driver did not accompany us through the palace. She arranged for our headsets and told us where to meet her two hours later. All in all, however, no regrets. Versailles is worth every penny.

Our driver and tour guide was very charming and knowledgeable. He made us feel very comfortable. The van was on time. Instructions were very clear as well as his response to any questions we had.

This was absolutely fabulous. Our driver was excellent; his general information was both informative and helpful to us foreigners. His ability to interact with all of us made the trip a most relaxed and enjoyable day.

Versailles is absolutely gorgeous! It's very impressive, a must see. There is a lot of walking, but they do make accommodations for handicapped visitors so don't let that stop you!

Loved it as in what was promised was delivered, but half day is too short for Versailles. Still, I knew what I signed up for. Very very hard to get in touch over the phone with the tour operator as required with the reservation to reconfirm. That was quite frustrating but the tour itself was great and being picked up at the hotel rather than having to go somewhere is a nice nice luxury!

This is a must see! Take the tour even if it is to avoid the lines at the entrance. The palace is incredible, and the gardens are beyond description. Go on the days that the fountain show is on, it is worth it. Our guide used wireless headsets to talk to us, and this let us wander around in the rooms and still listen to his commentary. Buy the book at Versailles; it will provide you with pictures in rooms you can't take photos, plus they are also better than you would be able to take yourself.

Everything went very smoothly on our trip. We realised we would be short of time in Versailles, but as we were only in Paris for a short break we couldn't set a whole day aside for the trip. Therefore the 4 hour trip was enough to give us a glimpse of the magnificent Versailles. Our guide was lovely, very capable, and the journey around Paris was part of the experience. Pick up was on time and we were dropped off by the Eiffel Tower. We didn't have to queue at Versailles as we were on this tour, and to be picked up from the hotel was brilliant. Thank you to all involved.

Our tours with Viator made our trip. The minivans were new and comfortable. Our tour guides were excellent. I highly recommend booking these tours.
