The Butchart Gardens have been serving tea since Jennie Butchart treated guests in the early 1900's, making The Gardens Victoria's oldest and best-loved tea tradition. English Tea is served in the elegant Butchart home in the heart of the world famous Butchart Gardens. In summer, tea may also be served in the stunning Italian Garden, one of the many themed gardens on the grounds.
Served while silver sparkles on the starched linen and the air is fragrant with baking and spices - pots of perfectly blended steaming tea are poured into fine china, as you enjoy the atmosphere that only the Butchart Gardens can provide.
Tea includes seasonal fresh fruit, traditional tea sandwiches, a selection of homemade sweets, scones with berry jam and whipped Devonshire Cream.
You will also have time to enjoy the wonderfully manicured grounds with trickling water fountains and winding paths set amongst some of the most spectacular gardens anywhere. Fifty acres await you - this truly is an unforgettable experience.
