Great trip, the tour guides both while travelling, and the local guide with the walking tour were informative. Totally enjoyed this trip.

It was nice but really flash tour, maybe could be better if we go out from Vienna at 6am

The tour shows the main points of the city, and I would not be able to see all of them in a few hours by myself. I usually prefer to travel by myself, but I advise this tour for those who have only one day to visit Budapest. It is a beautiful city. Guides were very polite.

If you only have limited time for visiting Budapest, it would be good to take part in this tour.

If you only have limited time to visit Budapest, this tour is worth doing. You see some Hungarian countryside and have enough time to see some sights in the city, enough to make you want to come back for a longer visit. Lunch at the hotel was reasonably fast and good value.

Not the most prosperous country in the free world, but the people are terrific.

The let down was the guide who completely read from a script when she talked at all. Also, valuable time was taken on unnecessary stops. Budapest was well worth the journey time and the cost, more personal time would have sealed the deal for us, but recommend for those who have just one day available, if you can't take a personal tour don't miss this opportunity!

It was a great trip and we saw a considerable amount of Budapest in the time we had. The local guide was great and gave us lots of history. If you don't have more than a day such as us then this is a good way to get a feel for Budapest. However it did also whet the appetite to return for longer when possible.

This was a fantastic trip, but it was too short. The guide was very good.

It is a long trip, approx 3 hour bus ride, but it is a good way to see Budapest. Once in Budapest we had a bus tour of the city in English, then we stopped for lunch for 1 hour, then back on the bus where we had different tour guides waiting for us who spoke different languages. We then went to the castle district and had a walking tour. From there back to the bus and the Pest side and some free time.
One tip - bring Euros!! We didn't really get a chance to get money on the trip and I had to wait until free time and find an ATM and by that time had already been in a shop or two which had high credit card minimums. But it turned out they would have accepted Euros. Also lunch was expensive at 14 Euros not including a drink - and a bottle of water at the restaurant was 3 Euros! Overall, I am glad I went. I got a good overview of the city and the trip went smooth.
Though most of the time is spent on the bus, this tour provides a general overview of Budapest, including the palace. If you have an extra day in Vienna this tour is worth it!

Due to our time constraint, probably a night's stay in Budapest would be enough time to enjoy the city.

It was a good trip, but the time given on the sightseeing was not too much. It was just an overlook to all the historical monuments, but we were not able to see them from inside. Also we could only take a few photographs.

I experienced the same driver Jan and same tour guide Elizabeth, as this is my second time the first one was in April 2009. Only this time I found I can hardly understand the local guide accent. If you could arrange for participants to have more free time, then it would be great.

Great to be picked up from hotel. All on time. Clean coach & pleasant guide. Lunch was far too early. We didn't go as was meat meal. Luckily a shop was open nearby which took euros. Far too long stop at Hero Square. Overall we saw most sights. Lovely views over river. Well organised. Probably going on Sunday was not a good idea. Would use Viator again.
