Travel from Vienna to the Renaissance-era Weikersdorf Castle in Baden for your Christmas Eve celebration. This castle, which dates back to the 13th century, was rebuilt in 1971 and is today used as part of a hotel.

When you arrive, take your seat at the table to enjoy an appetizer, followed by a delicious four-course dinner of regional specialities while a zither player entertains you with traditional Christmas music. Sip on your wine and soak up the festive, Old World atmosphere.

After your Christmas dinner, take a short walk to the Parish Church of St Christopher for midnight mass followed by a re-creation of the Nativity.

Your Christmas tour to the Baden Schloss was the best Christmas I have ever had. I want especially to thank our guide, for her excellent guidance. She deserves a big thanks from all our friends. The zither player was special, and the food wonderful. I am an old man now, and I will remember your tour always as the epitome of generousity and friendship. Thoroughly enjoyable experience! However, I didn't get a real castle feel since the place is a hotel and spa with a medieval interior look and feel. The mass was held in a nearby parish and not a cathedral. Aside from these slight differences than the expectations, the overall experience is great and the Austrian hospitality is great.
