My fiancee and I decided to try the waltz while we were in Vienna. It was a great experience that I only wish we could repeat! We were the only couple who signed up for our particular session, so we were upgraded to a private lesson. On top of it, our instructor gave us history on the background of the dance as well as the culture surrounding it. 10/10, would definitely recommend to anyone even considering it.
My Viennese Waltz was a mixture of the history of the dance and some practical technical applications regarding the traditional versus American style of Waltz. My instructor, Aga Chochorek, was excellent in her presentation and instruction and all in all this lesson in Vienna was a highlight of my trip through Europe.
This experience was lovely. The instructor was gracious and graceful. She was able to apply her knowledge of dance in a manner specific to our ability and manner. The elegant environment and music were great.
As the only ones there we had a private lesson which lasted longer than scheduled. Really good fun as a complete novice dancing with a more experienced partner so suitable for all. The instructor was wonderful escorting us to the underground when we asked for directions and recommend places to visit.
The instructor was very good. She was clear and concise in her teaching, allowing us enough time to dance without being exhausted. The music chosen was also very suitable. We enjoyed ourselves very much.
Excellent teacher who was kindly, patient and very generous with his compliments! We made quite a lot of progress (relatively) in the one hour lesson.
Really enjoyed our time.
I surprised my parents with this waltz dance lesson and they loved it! They had so much fun and the instructor was very nice and helpful.
Aga Chochorek is a fabulous instructor and had us up to tempo in 2 lessons. We will definitely book more lessons with her when we return to Vienna.
Outstanding. We were sufficiently lucky to be the only participants, so we basically had a private lesson. We had taken some lessons before coming to Vienna in anticipation of the Opera Ball, and this experience helped to add a little polish to our elementary form. Our instructor was excellent. We will enroll again next year if we return to Vienna.
We had a wonderful time learning the Viennese Waltz with our instructor, Aga. She spoke perfect English and gave us the opportunity to learn some more advanced moves. She is very patient and enthusiastic! We would highly recommend taking this class! Whether you are a seasoned dancer, or have never put on your dancing shoes, you're sure to have an incredible experience.
100% the instructress was magnificent. We will be back for our next lesson.
This was an excellent lesson with a great teacher who gave us the basics of the Viennese Waltz but also introduced the cultural side of the ball season in the city. A fantastic experience and definitely something different to do in Vienna.
This was excellent, very enjoyable. The dance instructor was very experienced and spoke perfect English. With little experience she showed us the basic steps and within the hour we were dancing around the room.
Giving the time this is something I would love to go bace to.
A must do event.
We enjoyed this experience very much. The Instructor was excellent and ballroom was beautiful. We would recommend this to anyone wanting to complete their Viennese experience.
We were early because we was not sure where it was exactly (we had a rough idea of the area according to the instruction received after confirmation). The instructor was also early, and we were the only 2 students. So we ended up having a private lesson for the 2 of us and we started the less 15 minutes early.
Aga, our instructor, who is also the CEO of the company, is very charming, graceful, and very proficient in English. Her instructions are clear. We already had experience with the Viennese Waltz (in the States) so we just asked Aga to correct our style.
All in all, we enjoyed our 45-minute lesson a lot and would recommend it highly, specially to the novices and the less experienced dancers.
