Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Prague Day Trip from Vienna. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
It was a nice trip, but I did not realize that it is far away from Vienna. You should make a call the day before to confirm pick up time, because they pick up people from different hotels and bring them to the bus. So your pick up time is much earlier the departure time. Be aware of it. Out of 14 hours of the day trip it was about 4 hours in Prague. I hope one day to get back to this beautiful city to spend more time and enjoy it.
Prague day Trip was very great, tour guide was excellend. also is great pick up from hotel and drop
I enjoyed this trip very much. We had the chance to stop at highway rest stops both on the way and back, for coffee, food, and a restroom break. Prague is a very magical city. The terrible weather we had did not diminish the beauty of this city. Our guide was knowledgeable, but could have provided a little more detail about what we were seeing. He did a heroic job, however, given the crowds. Fourteen hours made for a long day, but it was worth every moment of it.
Long day but sooooo worth it! It gave us only a taste of Prague but enough to know we want to go back! The local guide Giovanni was good and showed us the highlights and we had enough time to taste some local treats and do some shopping!
Our tour of Prague was great. We highly recommend it to anyone interested in visiting this lovely city.
Long trip from Vienna, about 4 hours. But guves a spectacular but brief tour of Prague, going from the Cathedral to old town, across the bridge, then to the square. I would probably get a tour of Prague for at least 3 days next time, but this tour gave me an excellent overview of Prague.
Nice tour with very good guide. It was long drive. Wish we could have more time in Prague. I liked pick up and drop off facility. Would like to take this trip once more.
This was a great tour. We were able to see many interesting sites and our tour guide she probably was new to the job did an amazing job. Prague is beautiful and we would love to go back again and spend more time in the city in the future.
Prague was a beautiful city - I would recommend people spending a few days there. Our guide was great and really informative. We can't wait to go there again.
Very efficiently organised tour. Hans, our guide to Prague was excellent. His love for his country is obvious and he was very knowledgeable. Yan not sure of the spelling, our guide in Prague was very good too.
Overall a very enjoyable and worthwhile trip.
We had cold weather and even snow, but the trip was worth it! The drive there was very long, but our enthusiastic guide and the town made up for the time on the bus. There were Easter market in the town squares serving many different delicious foods! We had quite a bit of time to explore on our own although not enough in my opinion!
Had four hours spent in Prague although it rained heavily that day, the city is still amazing.
This was a long road trip, 8 hours on the bus, 4 hours in Prague. Most of the bus ride is travelling through little villages, many of them has bumpy roads. The guide was very nice, but his thick accent was difficult to understand at times. My family and I enjoyed seeing the beautiful buildings, churches and squares...and the history that comes with it. Prague is too spectacular to see in just 4 hours. We are planning to go back in the future.
It was quick paced and the bulk of the time was spent in transit to and from Prague; plan on 4 hours each way. Nonetheless, the trip is well worth taking for someone with limited time and budget. The trip through the Moravian villages and countryside was wonderful. It would have been very helpful if the itinerary through Prague had been available beforehand (e.g. online) along with a walking map. This way the traveler can review the information beforehand and the walking tour would become more meaningful. Otherwise, the walking tour is too fast paced to make sense of what is being presented.
It was amazing! Hotels were awesome. Reservations and tickets were all sent to us. Don't hesitate to book this trip!!!!
It was about 3.5 to 4 hour drive but was worth the trip. We had a great time and both our guides (I believe both were called Hans) was too good and planned out the whole tour flawlessly. We had a small stop during the ride and later in Prague we had free time after the tour to grab a lunch and do as we wished. Walk over the Charles River Bridge and through the squares was great. Overall a great and memorable trip
This was great tour. Loved the guide who met bus and showed us the old town. I would highly recommend this tour.
Both Hans in bus n Jan in(Budapest) were fantastic. Take plenty of snacks along its almost 4 hrs each way or longer dependent on traffic. Overall grt trip must say. Hans gave his umbrellas away so that we would not be wet. This is service with a smile. There is a 45mins brkfst n dinner stop both way
Great city to visit! Tour guide went through the tour a little too fast, needed to slow down a little and give the opportunity to take in the sights, understand what you were being showed and take pictures.
It was great. Wish it included the church where Infant Jesus of Prague is, as one of the highlights of the tour.
Such a bonus to include hotel transfers, made this an enjoyable day. A beautiful and historical city tour. Our guide was very informative and would thoroughly recommend.
Excellent guide who was very organized. We saw a lot in such a short period of time. Well worth it!
