The trip was amazing and the guide was very funny and professional!
Because of the distance travelled, this tour made for a very long day but we wouldn't have missed it. We had a good amount of time in Salzburg, both with the escort and on our own. They were also kind enough to make a stop (for taking photos) at a scenic point along the way.
The tour started very early but the rest stops allowed us to have breakfast along the way and a welcome break on the way back.
I am happy to recommend this tour.
Very interesting tour, guide gentleman was fantastic spoke several languages fluently, tour was designed for non Austrians, very good
An excellent trip. Salzburg is really a pretty place and the trip was very well planned. It was a long drive, but the sights on the way were impressive, as were the comments made by the guide. We enjoyed the walking tour in Salzburg, again because of the excellent guide. We had more than two and a half to ourselves to enjoy the place. Going up to the castle on the cable car was certainly worth it because of the great views from the castle. There are a lot of choices for restaurants, but we chose to have a quick lunch and spend most of our time walking around and enjoying the ambience. Really a fantastic day.
stunning views and heavenly getaway location, highly recommended.
This tour was fantastic, what an amazing place.we enjoyed it very much.

It was a great trip. Specially the gentleman who was our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable I am sorry I have forgotten his name. He slowly built up .the story of Austria and Salzburg attracting our rapt attention. His narration combined with the beautiful landscape was a great experience. We shall go again. Thank you for helping us.

Excellent and very enjoyable. Salzburg should not be missed. I wish we had more time but my legs were giving out anyway. Highly recommended.
Had an excellent day even though it was hot. Our driver/ guide went that extra mile to ensure we had a memorable experience.
Salzburg was so beautiful and enchanting. We stayed in Vienna for 3 days and this day trip was a highlight of our trip. It was very different from Vienna. The 8 hour bus ride was very comfortable and the scenery was beautiful on the way (1-2 rest stop). You must try the train (4 minutes) and go up to the fortress to see the beautiful city. The cafe up in fortress with a special city view was the best: great food at very reasonable price, while enjoying the view.
Of note, we only had total 4 hours (including 1 hour and 20 mins of guided tour) there which was a little short but had enough time to hit the highlights.
This was a wonderful day out from Vienna, even if it is a long bus ride. However, you do have a comfort stop both going and returning. It is a good way to see something of the interior of Austria. The guided tour of Salzburg was good and our guide was very knowledgable. Whilst it was raining in Vienna we had a lovely warm sunny day in Salzburg and it was a fantastic introduction to the city. I can thoroughly recommend this trip.
The tour was interesting, the guide well prepared and very knowledgeable. It started with a bus ride around Vienna with a running commentary by the guide before setting out for Salzburg. On the highway the guide also provided good, interesting commentary and about half way to Salzburg, we stopped at a roadside rest area that had excellent German food where we had a late breakfast. The Salzburg palace tour was wonderful and quite spectacular. The tour felt a bit rushed as there seemed to be a time limit on how long the tour group was allowed to remain inside the palace. Irrespective, we would definitely recommend the tour for anyone with a limited amount of time in Vienna.
Really enjoyed this tour. Salzburg is quite a long drive from Vienna, but we got adequte breaks, one at the Austrian lake district , which was a bonus. In Salzburg, our guide Tomas, did a guided tour for about 1.5 hrs and then gave us about 2 hrs to visit on our own. We used the time to visit Mozart's house and roam around the old town as well as grab some lunch. There's lots to do in Salzburg based on your interests and you could easily stay here a few days, but if you want a decent taster this is a great option as a 1 day tour.
