Great trip and I enjoyed the comfort of the bus. Itinerary tight but well worth the 1 day in travel.

Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and upbeat. She sparkled with her enthusiasm for the city. She has very clear pronunciation and could very easily be understood. But the main reason for the rating, there was sufficient time to actually see some museums and other sites that I came to Salzburg for. The lake area was very nice, but if so much of what is pointed out is dealing with the film "The Sound of Music" then ride by the church so we see a very clear view of it, maybe even take 20 minutes to go inside. But I loved the trip and would recommend it highly to friends.

The entire trip was very well organized and a lot of fun. Our tour guide did an excellent job in sharing all of her knowledge. A great way to see Salzburg and Austria.

Salzburg is beautiful. We also lovely the trip to and from Salzburg with the beautiful lakes and majesty of the mountains on the warm summer day we took this tour. It was cool to visit the spots were the Sound of Music was filmed. Highly recommended.

all day tour with stops along the way to Salzburg and on the return to Vienna--small group--nice walking tour of the city with excellent guide--When you go on Sunday you see the locals in native dress--singing in the park and in the squares--A wonderful tour!!

The tour was well organised, enough time with a dedicated tour guide and then time to wander around on your own with your own itinerary. A beautiful city and well worth making the day trip.

Not what we thought, but enjoyed it. It was much more dense and we were expecting a bit smaller and quaint. It has good shopping and lots of tourist areas to look at.

I loved everything about it! A bit of mix up at the beginning regarding the pick up place, but aside from that everything was awesome! I would have preferred to have it for a longer time but I guess in summer this would be avoided!

From our hotel pick-up, to our drop off 12 hours later, we had a great time. Our host took lots of time to explain the events of the day, sights along the way, rest stops and meals, and than provided a detailed and engaging walking tour. about halfway through, the guide, pointed out some points that were used in the Sound of Music, but went on to say, we were not going to visit them since our tour was limited. Not to worry, with my telephoto lens, it looked like we were right there. After a few minutes, the rebel in us, decided to ditch the group and run to set some close-ups. we than luckily located our group about 10 mintutes later. we had to laugh!
