An absolutely lovely day! We got to visit another city and sang "Do Re Mi" on the steps that were in The Sound of Music!! So fun!

The trip was very very good. The guide, driver and local guide were all excellent. We left Vienna as scheduled, morning pick-up was also on time! And return journey was also great.

An excellent trip and a very good tour guide. However, despite a reminder telephone call just before pickup, we were forgotten and were collected 30 minutes late by car.

Riding to the top of the castle and having ample time to eat lunch at the outdoor restaurant was unexpected. The view from above is beautiful.

Salzburg was a beautiful city. The weather was kind of cold that day, and it was hard to walk around for hours without getting uncomfortable. Other than that I enjoyed it very much. And the travel guide was knowledgeable. But he could have been more attentive to others and not smoked in front of the people.

We booked this tour through viator.com as all the people on the same tour did. It was a nice drive with loads of scenery. Really got the Christmas feeling with all the snow there was throughout the villages on our way to Salzburg. The day turned out to be a bit dull as it was raining all day long, but the tour leader was very informative and I would definitely recommend this tour! Salzburg is completely different from Vienna and it's a whole new experience on its own.
