This was amazing. There was an engagement at the original concert hall so the concert was held on the main ballroom of the Schonbrunn palace.
Very well organised the dinner was very good although wine a bit pricey. The concernt was excellent and included opera and ballet as well as the orchestra. A really enjoyable evening in wonderful surroundings.
The concert took place in a magnificent room inside the palace. It was a wonderful mixture of Mozart and Shubert music with two soloists. A great evening and we thoroughly enjoyed it. An evening not to be missed.
Wonderful evening. The dinner was delicious in lovely surroundings. The concert was both varied with orchestra, opera and ballet, and also, surprisingly very amusing. The very talented artists also performed some tongue in cheek skits. Altogether a very enjoyable and memorable evening.
Excellent experience. God was very good and the music was great! Will do it again when in Vienna.
Excellent evening. Dinner a bit average, but venue and concert were terrific. Easy access to the venue from the train is a good way to travel
It was fantastic. I was very impressed with both dinner and concert.
Lovely evening. Would recommend the concert with the meal, best food on our trip. The standard of the concert was high, VIP seats meant no queue and excellent view. Singers were wonderful and provided variety
Another don't miss tour!! We had a wonderful Austrian meal
and then enjoyed the Classical concert afterwards. It didn't matter that we
didn't speak English. The music was amazing!!
Outstanding event and evening which is highly recommended! Need clarification on ticket pick up arrangements, but worked out after some looking.
We enjoyed the Palace and the Dinner very much. The concert was exceptional. The two soloists had wonderful voices and the orchestra was very good.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of dinner and a concert at this beautiful palace.
We were very happy with the meal, but we were not too pleased to have to walk outside in wind and rain to get to the concert in the Orangerie. When we left the concert the main gate was closed and locked, so we had to find another exit, again in windy and wet conditions.
Had a wonderful tour, loved the city, its people its easy access to everything . Great hotel friendly, professional all information supplied and eager to help those with queries.
Excellent concert - we had a three course meal included and this was a set menu of typical Austrian dishes. The palace is stunning :)
The concert was exceptional, but the food was mediocre with boiled beef, salty potatoes, but a good strudel for dessert.
Schonbrunn was closing as we arrived, so we did not get to see the palace interior. Shame but not a tragedy. However the dinner and concert were worth the effort. The restaurant is inside the palace walls but not inside the palace. We felt the dinners was excellent considering that it was a set menu. The service was very good and we did not feel rushed at all. The restaurant room was very nicely decorated and the tables were well spaced.
The concert was excellent. The orchestra of 15 was so good. The soprano and tenor were young and very competent. The dancers were excellent. Including intermission the concert started at 8.30 and finished a bit after 10pm. Well worth the price and a great memory for us.
The concert production, orchestra and performers were high quality and overall, the show was good. However, the dinner was average, held in the café about 250 metres from the Orangerie hall. The only disappointing part was that the picture of the concert used by Viator is COMPLETELY MISLEADING and if based in Australia would be hauled up by Consumer Affairs! The picture depicted shows a grand ballroom/hall with decorated murals, paintings, etc expected of being in a palatial atmosphere. However, the hall was very basic (may as well be in a school hall), away from the palace grounds. It used to be part of a green house of the palace!
Overall, despite this, the concert was very good. One just hopes that the grandeur photo advertised should not be used.
The palace is a subway away from downtown. The dinner was marginal, the concert was great. If I had do over I would skip the dinner and just go to the concert. Surroundings are great, please be familiar with subway if you are using this mode of transportation. Great concert.
This was easy to get to on the subway. The show was excellent and very similar to the shows offered at the many tourist venues in town. As one says, utilize a winning formula frequently and all of the tour companies have taken that to heart. The dinner was enjoyable but not spectacular. Overall an excellent evening.
