Barbara is so great!!! She's giving a lot of information, open for questions and talking. I've enjoyed this tour every minute.
Our tour guide, Barbara, was fantastic! She was extremely knowledgeable, funny, brought along visual aids maps, pictures, newspaper clippings that she had downloaded from the internet. We had a tour of the synagogue earlier in the day and thought the tour might be repetitive, but it was very interesting and provided us with a great history of the Jewish people from medieval times to today. Highly recommend the tour.
Informative, interesting, emotional, relevant. Barbara's passion was evident and appreciated. Great tour
The tour included everything we expected plus more. The guide, Walter, was knowledgeable, passionate, and very courteous. I recommend this tour.
Our tour guide was very energetic and well informed. She knew her history and showed a lot of interest in the topic. I would recommend this tour to anybody who is interest in learning more about the Holocaust.
Excellent, high-energy, bilingual tour with tour guide Barbara Timmermann! The tour was very smooth even though it was completely bilingual in English and German. Barbara was extremely knowledgable even on subtle details of Jewish practice. She also has a very strong voice that really projected well. Highly recommend this 1-1/2 hour tour which involves walking very short distances.
This tour was very interesting. Our guide, Barbara, was very knowledgeable about the Jewish community in Vienna. Our group consisted of German and English speaking people. Barbara was very adept at explaining in both languages.
This tour was let very good and very informative. Our guide was extremely knowledgable.
Bridget was an excellent guide. In spite of the sweltering heat, she managed to keep us all engaged.
The guide was superb - extremely knowledgeable. However, the directions to the meeting place were confusing and misleading.
Great knowledgable guide. Very informative. I would add "entering the synagogue" rather than just looking at photos from the outside
Very interesting and informative. I thoroughly enjoyed the sights and the information. The guide was very good
The guide provided us with very interesting information and spoke fast but clearly. We saw some places that we probably would not have seen without the tour. I recomend for people who is interested in Jewish or World War history.
Good tour a bit rushed
There was over 25 people in my tour
Could not ask the guide anything
The tour was interesting. However, too much time was spent on discussions of the film The Third Man.
Tour consists largely of guide showing pictures from a notebook. Don't actually go inside anything or see very much. Have taken other Jewish city tours that were considerably better planned and more interesting. Bilingual tour German/English makes it very difficult to follow. Guide is kind of nasty when it comes to answering questions. Would not recommend.
My guide, Brigitte, was not sensitive to the English speaking members of the tour and spent most of her time speaking German and not translating. But more importantly she was intent on denying the extent of Austrian anti-semitism and made statements that were clearly inaccurate and misleading. She should not be assigned to this tour.
