Vienna is very beautiful and it was nice to have a guide so knowledgeable about this city. Great introduction to Vienna.

There were only 3 people on this English language tour so there were many opportunities to ask questions. Our tour guide was excellent. She detailed so much history of Vienna and there was so much passion for her city in the telling. She showed us many interesting sights and took us to places we would never have found on our own such as the Spanish horse school, St. Stephens Cathedral, the palace,Mozart's house with the only picture of him withouta wig. She also pointed out many examples of architecture. We all learned so much.

Great walking trip! Our guide was awesome. She spoke in English and German non-stop. She had great knowledge of the area and we got to see most of the center of the city. Thanks!

This was a great introduction to the history of Vienna. We were shown many of the historical palaces that related to the Hapsburg Empire. The guide was friendly, approachable and very informative. This was a very worthwhile experience for us.

It was a little unclear of who/which company we were supposed to be meeting/looking out for. Eventually found a lady who we think was our guide, but she did not accept the smart phone option of having your certificate, so this was confusing. The tour itself was great, if this was the correct person!

This was v good, only marred by the fact it was freezing and raining and couldnt feel feet or hands by the end, but no fault of the guide who was excellent

Our tour was at 2pm and ended up being a large group (over 25 people) who spoke both English and German--the tour guide stopped at each site and gave an efficient overview in German and then English. The tour provided a good overview of Vienna. I would recommend trying to book a tour that was earlier in the day or right after you get into town as many sites close around 4pm in the winter--so you are on the tour during prime site-seeing hours. Also, it would have been ideal if the tour was in only one language.

The guide was talking both in German and in English and we got an impression that the English version was much shorter. It would have been much better with groups organised by the language instead of having a guide trying to say things in 2 languages.

The tour guide managed well a mixed group of English and German speaking tourists, switching between languages without a break. Tour was informative but very centrally sited within Vienna city.

We usually really enjoy these tours, but unfortunately for us, the day was sub zero. We had signed up for an English tour but everything was said in English AND German which meant long periods standing still in the cold. After 90 mins we ran away. Too cold at this time of year.

We were totally disappointed at this tour. Instead of 2 hours offered, the tour lasted only 1 hour 40 minutes. Besides this, the tour was offered in English, but for our surprise it was in German and English at the same time, so the tour ended being boring and in reality only 50 minutes long!! I recomend that you specify clearly waht your offer is, so you don't deceive your clients.

One word: horrible. Maybe because the tour was still relatively new (our date of the tour was Aug 1, 2012), but the guide was very confused when we presented the Viator voucher – she said she didn’t know anything about it, could not accept it and had to make a few phone calls to straighten this matter. She then declared that it was too hot and she will try to walk as little as possible and stay out of the sun (we ended up spending more than one our out of two standing in one not particularly attractive spot staring at the advertising on a bulletin board). When we finally moved a couple of places, the guide failed to even announce where we were or where we were going. Her story was mostly focused on a few sporadic historical facts (one had to struggle to make any connection to the previous fact or the place we were visiting at that moment), describing what was on display in different museums throughout Vienna, and explaining why Austrians were such a grouchy people (she herself was a good example). When the tour was almost over, one of the participants holding a tour book on Vienna pointed out that we didn’t really get 99% of the “city highlights” promised in the tour description, but the guide just shrugged it off. This tour had zero value for us and we consider it a waste of time (and money).
