Our pickup driver was waiting for us when we arrived at Vienna and the ride to our hotel was smooth - happy with the service.
We were met at the station right on the platform itself by driver. Car was spotless and had plenty of room for the two of us and luggage. Driver was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. It was an excellent experience.
I don't know whether it was luck or not, but our driver was waiting for us directly outside our train wagon when we arrived. The guy was incredible and took all of our suitcases and gave a running tour on the way to the hotel. He then refused to accept a 10 Euro tip, saying it was his pleasure!

I have booked 7 different airport & train stations transfers to & from my hotels in 4 European capitols. In addition, also booked an evening dinner & concert in Vienna. As a former tour operator myself for 38 years all I can say is: "Thank You VIATOR for a job well done!". I did not have to wait or look for any of the drivers in the various airports, stations or hotels. They were all waiting with a proper sign bearing my name, very presentable, very friendly and helpful. The cars were all top notch and clean. The driver was waiting for us when our train arrived and took us to our hotel. He was very nice and answered a lot of our questions about Vienna.
Our train was late but our driver was waiting patiently and very kindly delivered us to our hotel. This is a wonderful service for new visitors to a city.

Instructions were not clear. We were not told to wait in platform. When we arrive we walked for a while in the platform and saw nobody. Then walked outside to taxi stand, had to call. When driver arrived told we were going to be charge $ 30 more (all happened within 10min of our arrival), he was initially very rude. Not the first impression we wanted of Vienna ! He then call office and came back with a nicer mood and was very pleasant afterwards.
Driver did not have our name on a card and was showing a card with a tour company we had never heard of..Once we found each other it was fine. but it was only by chance that we got together
The person that picked us up so very rude. We had a lot of luggage and were slow getting off the train. The person got very mad at us for not getting off the train quicker. We are older and he cussed us, saying he had another pick-up to do. Very displeased.
