We thought the trip was well planned and very informative. The guide's bilingual skills were incredible. All in all, we had a very enjoyable and memorable trip.

The underground lake tour is a bit oversold as an attraction, but the ride through the Vienna woods is a great way to see the area.

This was a pleasant drive through beautiful countryside. It was an enjoyable visit to an underground lake and historical buildings. Getting people sorted out at the pickup location seemed a bit chaotic. It was a pity, we had to leave another of the travelers behind when she didn't show up at the pickup place for the return journey.

I enjoyed the sights, especially the underground lake. However, there were problems with the pick-up, and I had to get a taxi to the meeting point. There was also no opportunity for hotel drop-off as advertised.

If you are on a tight schedule, this is the trip to take. Extremely informative and enjoyable introduction to the Wiener Wald. Many thanks to Viator.

A fabulous half day trip, informative, scenic and very interesting, especially the underground lake. The only problem was that we could not get anything to eat for lunch besides cake and coffee which was not our favorite.

Interesting! We took in a lot of Austrian history.

This tour was okay, but nothing spectacular. The drive out from Vienna was nice with pretty scenery. The bus doesn't stop at Baden, just drives through quickly. We were only at Mayerling for about 10 minutes. We walked in one side and out the other, then we got back on the bus. Not really worth stopping for, in my opinion. The monastery was lovely though. Peaceful and beautiful, as you would expect. The underground lake was a bit of a disappointment. It was like a Disneyland ride and the tour guide mentioned that he wanted us to tip him like 5 times during the tour. It was a decent way to spend half a day in Vienna, but if you've got a limited amount of time I would not recommend it. There are more interesting things to do.

Underground lake a joke. Otherwise a OK trip. Bus was good.

In Mayerling, we heard very little dialogue. The guide failed to mention that Mary Vetsera was buried at Heiligenkreuz, and we did we stop at the cemetery there, but the tour chose instead to focus the majority of the time on an artificial grotto a few miles away. Does this grotto belong to a board member of the tour operator? Nothing special at all and a waste of time.

It was okay, but I was expecting a trip as described in the tour information guide. Viator's description is 'Visit an ancient Roman City with thermal baths' all we did was drive through Banden!
