It was a bit rainy in the morning, but that didn't stop us at all! Weather cleared up by the afternoon and the bike ride, scenery, and tastings were fabulous!

We were a group of 23 colleagues who went on this tour in connection with our stay in Vienna. I cannot recommend it highly enough! The company was extremely professional to deal with and even had tandem bike waiting on our group for 1 who was unsure about biking. The trip was not too strenuous (we were between 61 and 28 yrs of age), absolutely gorgeous and relaxing. Our American guide, Gretel, was extremely knowledgeable of the area and of wines and with her service-mindedness and sweet humor, our day was a success.We stopped at various vineyards for tasting, went through a wine cellar, etc.and even if your interest is not wine, you would enjoy the trip. We only lacked Maria from the Sound of Music to make it more perfect!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Austria. Our guide was wonderful and informative and the Wachau Valley was amazingly beautiful! The wine tastings were an added bonus to an already great tour.

An awesome experience cycling in town (and not city area) with good wine, great sausages and barbecue pork, beautiful scenery. Not to mention the friendly guide and great companion from Australia.

We visited Venice, Vienna, and Prague and the wine tour to the Austrian countryside was by far my favorite part of my vacation. We toured with some wonderful people from all over the world, including Adam (guide), the quintessential Aussie! We tasted great wines, visited provincial towns, and learned the history of the area, all while getting some exercise! I would HIGHLY recommend this once-in-a-lifetime tour!

We booked for October so did't expect glorious weather; nonetheless, when the day dawned cold & drizzly, we nearly cancelled. I'm very glad we didn't as we had a wonderful day. Nice scenery, good guide (who cooked a fine BBQ lunch), interesting wines and enjoyable international company - so good that when we got back to Vienna at 7pm we all promptly went out together for the evening. A great day.

One of the best tours I have ever taken. A really nice mix between biking and walking and tasting. Very quaint wineries where we literally got the key from under the mat and let ourselves in. Excellent tour guide - she knew a lot and was very personable.

This was an amazing tour! Great, great tour guide Marla - she was enthusiastic, informed and great fun. The bikes were great, the views absolutely amazing and the lunch venue was half way up a beautiful hill. Really amazing tour, great value for money, would do it again!

Clearly, this was the highlight of our trip to Vienna. Gretel was wonderful. Her composure never left her, even when we had to transfer trains 5 times (due to a train derailment before we arrived) instead of once. Wines were good, scenery breathtaking, and the optional 20 minute climb up to Durnstein castle was strenuous, but doable. The bike ride was VERY easy and I'm 65. A very companionable group helped make this a memorable and worthwhile trip.
