For Cruise Passengers:
If you are disembarking from a cruise ship, please note that there are at least 2 main piers that the cruise ship docks at. Saigon port is right near the city and is a pick up point for this tour however Phu My port is located in Vung Tau city, approximately 2 hours drive from Saigon. If your cruise ship docks at Phu Phy port, it is not possible to take a full day tour, only a half day city tour. An additional charge for transfer from Phu My to Saigon and back will be applied for all Port Pick Ups from Phu Phy port.

This morning we set off for a drive through the Mekong Delta to the town of Cai Be, well-known for it's floating market and have the opportunity to buy various fruits and vegetables. Here we will board our private boat for a cruise along the maze of waterways and canals to Vinh Long. We will stop at the home of a Bonsai gardener for a sumptuous Delta lunch, including the popular dish of 'Elephant ear fish', before continuing our exploration of the tributaries and canals of the delta. Towards the end of the day we arrive at the home of a local family whose house is built on stilts over the water. These people will be our hosts for this evening and will tell us more about life in the Delta.

Day 2: Vinh Long - Ho Chi Minh City

Rising early to the sounds of the Delta coming to life for another day, we breakfast before boarding our riverboats once more for a cruise to Vinh Long town, stopping along the way to visit some local cottage industries. Following this we will rendezvous with our vehicle for the drive to the town of My Tho, where we will visit the Dong Tam snake farm and the Vinh Trang pagoda, before our return to Ho Chi Minh City and back to your hotel.
