THIS TOUR WAS FANTASIC. It was very busy but you went to every major site in Washington. If you have a chance to do this tour I would do it. Had a great time learning about the history of Washington DC.
Saw all that was advertised. Bus driver had knowledge of all the sites. It was the best way to tour DC
The 2 day tour was great. Both days we had drivers who were very knowledgeable. We were able to see many sights. We would take other tours with Viator.
The guide who did the DC part of the tour had been doing this for 30 years. Could not believe someone could have such a detailed knowledge from memory. The other guide was great too. Truly a full 2 days, 7AM-6PM pickup to hotel return.
It was certainly nice to leave the driving to someone else as well as the timing. Certain things like the tour of the capitol and the changing of the guard at Arlington Cemetery require knowledge of when to go. These guys know the ropes.
The 2-Day Grand Tour covered every main monument or sightseeing interest in Washington DC. I would highly recommend this tour because of it's great value. Worth every penny!
Viator made our trip fabulous. The bus was air conditioned and extremely comfortable. Our tour guides were fantastic! They were so knowledgeable and humorous. We had a fabulous time and would definitely use Viator again!
Perfect way to squeeze a lot from a short time in Washington DC. We did the 'Interior of Public Buildings' tour on our second day, really enjoyed the White House center and Ford's Theatre, American History Museum and the US Capitol building. Then on our last day we did Mount Vernon and the Vietnam memorial. It was a lot to cover, but really glad we had a guide and some guidance about what to tackle. Made it easy, saw all that we wanted to, took many many photos, can definitely recommend this for when you travel to DC.
Excellent well informed drivers, great views at the right pace.
This is the best way to see the sights. The trip to Mount Vernon was wonderful, although you don't get a lot of time at the monuments to really explore them.

The tour was fantastic and covered pretty much everything. I enjoyed visiting the Capitol Building, Mount Vernon, the World War II Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial and the National Air and Space Museum. I really enjoyed the tour.

The driver for our first day of the tour was very informative and a great, fun person to be with for the day. On the second day, there was a bomb scare in the Capitol Building, and that put us behind. I know it frustrated our driver. Some of the tourists came out the wrong door at the Capitol and were not at the appointed place and were left behind. I know that it was not the driver's fault, but it was hard on those of us who went on. We all could tell that the driver was very irritated, as he told us about the city his very matter-of-fact way. I learned a lot from both drivers, and we are very happy we took a tour. On the second day, I felt like we were at a horse race. We thought we would stop for lunch as we did the first day, but when we went to the Air and Space Museum, we were given one hour and had to get a bite to eat, so we had to rush through. We had really wanted to go to the National Archives, but the line was long; we were taken to the Natural History Museum, which wasn't on the list so we had gone there the day before. We missed the National Archives altogether.
We had a great time, wish there was more time at each spot. Great bus drivers.
I would recommend this to everyone. The bus drivers were so friendly and knowledgeable. They gave you so much history information that you never would have gotten if you toured everything on your own. WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!!
They don't run the tours if there's less than 8 people on the day. I didn't know this when I booked

A great way to see Washington DC. David Cooper, the guide and driver was excellent. However, three hours in the Air and Space museum, just over the top. More time at the Capital to fully see the Library would have been far better. A lot of the participants complained of the long time at the museum. I would still recommend this tour as a great way to become familiar with the city.
Guides were very informative and funny they did an excellent job. The only complaint was hotel pickup was promised and we were told that was no longer the case. So we had to take a cab to and from Union Station.
First day tour guides communication was not easily understood. The second tour guides was an excellent communiator.
Very good, had hope to have mega-bus for sightseeing. Missed not going to Jefferson memorial. Missed not getting closer to white house or inside tour coordination. Overall the poeple were great and knew a lot of info.
