We had a great trip. It was rainiy and cool, but our driver was great and we got to see a lot Gettysburg. You really need more time to take it all in, but overall it was a great trip.
The walk around in Gettysburg was great, with great tour guides, and great knowledge and stories.
The tour of the battlefields was fantastic - could spend days there.
The center was great and the diorama was magnificent.
An excellent tour at a reasonable pace. The Battlefield Centre is very well done and together with the battlefield guide you get a good appreciation of the event. For once you didn't feel too rushed on this tour.
Great tour. The busride, the kompetent guides and the sights are worth telling about. Our tour includes the visit of the farnsworth house, the visitor center and a 2,5 h bustour into the battlefield with 4 fotostops. Thanks to David Cooper (bus) and Guide Dave (fields).
Wonderful tour! Excellent tour guides. Bus was comfortable and clean. Driver was very friendly. Really enjoyed this trip learnt a lot about the place
An excellent trip from the start! Coach was very comfortable and the driver was first class (David). First stop at Gettysburg town was very interesting and informative and guide (in costume) was very good. Visitors centre and museum was next stop which was also a great experience. A guide joined the bus to take us on a tour of the battlefield and we made several stops at various points of interest where we got off the bus. This was the highlight of a wonderful tour and the guide was superb. You could almost hear the noise of the battle from his enthusiastic and interesting commentary. I would highly recommend this tour.
Our driver showed us his personal Gettysburg movie on the drive up and back. We got to stop in town and as war soldiers, guns and all, went to a mock camp to learn about the time then. Also we got to tour an original house from back then. The outer wall had musket shot marks all over it. We sat in the attic and learned how the soldiers sat there and shot out the window. The tour of the battle field was very interesting and the guide was fun and knowledgeable. Worth the money!
This tour was very good. Our guide @ the battle field was knowledgeable and patient with his charges. We had visited Gettysburg before but this tour added many things we did not know earlier. At Union Station our tour bus was 45 minutes late requiring us to stand in line for about an hour.
As a history teacher, Gettysburg has long been on my bucket list. Our driver shared a lot of interesting details. Showing a video on the way there provided a good over view. I found it a very moving experience to stand on Little Round Top and also to look across the field from where Picket's charge started from.
