Very interesting learning about one of the key battles of the Civil War, and seeing a house which Confederate snipers used.
Wonderful day! I talked my aunt and uncle from Minnesota into coming out to D.C. And they loved the comprehensive tour provided to us. Great historical views plus great account of the battle and how it affected the towns people and the soldiers. We had a beautiful day and a great time.
We thought this was an excellent tour.
Apart from the fact that the bus was half an hour late company fault, not the driver the driver certainly made up for it with his professional and excellent handling of the situation. We didn't miss anything on the tour and still had plenty of time to do everything we wished. It was a highly informative tour and I would recommend it to anyone going to Gettysburg. We were totally immersed in the experience.
Definitely a must do tour from DC. I'm not a big history buff, but I thoroughly enjoyed this informative tour. Dave, our Gettysburg tour guide, was absolutely impressive with his knowledge of facts. I highly recommend this tour!!!
We truly enjoyed our day trip from Washington DC to Gettysburg. The bus driver and tour guide were both wonderful. The scenery is so beautiful, and the history is unreal. I definitely recommend this trip.
Taking this tour of Gettysburg is by far the best way of visiting what is a much larger area than we imagined. The presence of our tour guide was also excellent, as he gave a running commentary on the many stages of the battle and in great detail.
Loved it!!! Very knowledgeable guide Beautiful scenery I think everyone should book this tour
This way one of the highlights of our Washington DC visit. Our tour guide, Dave, who took us through the battlefields was amazing. His knowledge and willingness to answer all our questions, made this day well worth the effort. Great Day, thank you Dave. Gaylene and Allan, Australia

We had a great trip. It was rainiy and cool, but our driver was great and we got to see a lot Gettysburg. You really need more time to take it all in, but overall it was a great trip.
The walk around in Gettysburg was great, with great tour guides, and great knowledge and stories.
The tour of the battlefields was fantastic - could spend days there.
The center was great and the diorama was magnificent.
An excellent tour at a reasonable pace. The Battlefield Centre is very well done and together with the battlefield guide you get a good appreciation of the event. For once you didn't feel too rushed on this tour.
Great tour. The busride, the kompetent guides and the sights are worth telling about. Our tour includes the visit of the farnsworth house, the visitor center and a 2,5 h bustour into the battlefield with 4 fotostops. Thanks to David Cooper (bus) and Guide Dave (fields).
Wonderful tour! Excellent tour guides. Bus was comfortable and clean. Driver was very friendly. Really enjoyed this trip learnt a lot about the place
An excellent trip from the start! Coach was very comfortable and the driver was first class (David). First stop at Gettysburg town was very interesting and informative and guide (in costume) was very good. Visitors centre and museum was next stop which was also a great experience. A guide joined the bus to take us on a tour of the battlefield and we made several stops at various points of interest where we got off the bus. This was the highlight of a wonderful tour and the guide was superb. You could almost hear the noise of the battle from his enthusiastic and interesting commentary. I would highly recommend this tour.
Our driver showed us his personal Gettysburg movie on the drive up and back. We got to stop in town and as war soldiers, guns and all, went to a mock camp to learn about the time then. Also we got to tour an original house from back then. The outer wall had musket shot marks all over it. We sat in the attic and learned how the soldiers sat there and shot out the window. The tour of the battle field was very interesting and the guide was fun and knowledgeable. Worth the money!
This tour was very good. Our guide @ the battle field was knowledgeable and patient with his charges. We had visited Gettysburg before but this tour added many things we did not know earlier. At Union Station our tour bus was 45 minutes late requiring us to stand in line for about an hour.
As a history teacher, Gettysburg has long been on my bucket list. Our driver shared a lot of interesting details. Showing a video on the way there provided a good over view. I found it a very moving experience to stand on Little Round Top and also to look across the field from where Picket's charge started from.
Everything was so worth the money spent from the knowledgable bus driver to all of the guides. Wonderful day!
Excellent tour guides. Bus was comfortable and clean. Driver was friendly.
OMG! This was a trip that will be long remembered. 1st, the Bus driver played Gettysburg on the way up and back. I had not seen it. The, Day in the life of a soldier" gave an idea of what they went thru. Then we went to the house where soldiers were sharpshooting out of a tiny window. We then went to the museum with the show and Cyclarama(sp), and was really enjoyable. Finally we got back on the bus and spent two hours with a Historian, Joe, that is like all your best history teachers rolled into one. he had such enthusiasm and knowledge that even the young men behind us from Australia were overwhelmed with excitement. We went to the battlefield and saw and experienced what was going on. we exited the bus 4 times to catch better information. It was the highlight!
To say we enjoyed the trip is an understatement!
