Wonderful tour. Truman, our tour guide, was passionate and knowledgeable about Gettysburg and we learned so much. He also recommended a book that I purchased in the gift shop and that I am anxious to begin reading: Gettysburg: A Strange and Blighted Land by Gregory A. Coco. Informative, emotional and worthwhile tour for anyone interested in Civil War history. A day well-spent.

Our trip to Gettysburg was on a rainy day but that didn't stop it from being a great trip! The guide that got on the bus was very good, and the museum and show there was awesome! It was a good trip!

Apart from the late start, coach left at 8.40am rather than 8am with little information as why it was late. An excellent day with plenty to see and listen to. Well worth the visit and good value for the money.
Would recommend this tour.

Wonderful bus trip. Enjoyed seeing the area by tour bus and not worrying about traffic. Excellent tour, definitely worth the price. It was very educational, yet quite an emotional experience being in an area that had such a profound effect on American history. Would recommend this to everyone!

Awesome trip! The bus driver played the movie "Gettysburg" on the screen above our seats. We watched the first half of the movie on the way there, and the other half on the way back. Really helped us to actually visualize the combatants, army locations, etc. at Gettysburg.

This trip was great. I didn't realize how much there was to see and do in Gettysburg. Our driver was awesome and so was the tour guide who rode on our bus with us through the battlefield. I highly recommend this day tour.

A great day out and history lesson. The guides gave their all and made the day so special. Very emotional viewing the battlefield and monuments. It was a long day and the Gettysburg film was showing on bus outbound and inbound. The volume was way too loud as I felt a little quiet and reflection would have been more appropriate coming back to Washington.

This trip was set up for my husband who is a history buff. AT first he wasn't sure it was what he really wanted, getting divided up and assigned a "play gun" etc. But he ended up enjoying the trip very much. We both enjoyed the cyclorama. He really enjoyed the battlefield visit and the guide we had. His only wish is that he could have spent more time at the battlefield. Both the bus driver and guide were very good.

From start to finish the tour was very well organised and a must do when in the area. There was more included in the tour than I expected so great value for a full day tour. Visited every key area of the battle and tour guides were excellent.

I had a magnificent day on my trip to Gettysburg. On the way over there and back we were presented with the movie Gettysburg, which was a real treat.
When we arrived there we first went to the Farnsworth house, which is magnificently preserved with bullet holes and all from the civil war. The local guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining being dressed in period uniform and a muscat.
At the visitor's center we got to watch a great presentation of the three days of the battle, first with a documentary narrated by Morgan Freeman, and then a greatly representation of the battle using a huge painting reproduced to present the various stages of the battle illuminated by lights behind it.
But the best was when we actually went to the battlefield, being guided by an extremely knowledgeable guide that was entertaining and made everything seem so alive.

This day trip is very highly recommended to anyone interested in the civil war.
