Maybe could skip first stop at diarama, and spend an hour or so in town for shopping.

Only had 4 days in DC and took a chance on this trip. Was very glad I did. Good tour and lunch, and lots of room.

Excellent tour. The bus driver was very good and the Gettysburg tour guide was absolutely brilliant. Pity about the weather, but this was beyond control. On the whole a worthwhile experience.

This was run by a very good tour operator with excellent drivers and guides who were able to explain in plain English the different facets of the war as it unfolded. They gave one a clear appreciation of what fighting in the Civil War meant. Gettysburg is a quaint little town that opens up its soul to visitors, and I could have easily spent a week looking around. Even if you have no particular knowledge or interest in the war, I think this tour could change your mind.

I enjoyed the history, and the trip was great. Thanks.

Although we were very pleased with the tour guide at Gettysburg our bus driver was non communicative, giving us no information during the trip to and from Gettysburg and very poor explanation of what we were doing.

I liked the tour guide at the battlefield, and the visit to the home in town, but could have done without the diorama and the trip to the visitor's center.

The diorama was a bit confusing. While nice to look at as a model, I have been to Gettysburg previously and seen the must larger one run by the park services and while it is not as fancy, it was not as confusing because there were more lights in the actual board itself. We did not like the food at the lunch stop. The tour of the house was very enjoyable and interesting. Our guide at Gettysburg was very knowledgeable.

We received extremely detailed info about the logistics of the battle three times from different sources on the one day. That was unnecessary. What was missing was commentary about the social and political significance of the battle. The tour of the Shriver House was the best part of the tour.

The driver was good. The guide was knowledgeable but spent too much time on nonsense and not enough on true historical info. The visit at the home was interesting and worthwhile.

The tour guide was not good. He would not let us out of the bus to view anything. The three hours of listening to him was a waste of time.
