I nearly missed the tour, because there were not directions on where to meet up at the station. When I called the number, the lady answering for the tour operator was NOT friendly. The bus driver did not like people and would barely look at us or talk to us. He dropped us off at the theater and told us he would be back for us at 1pm. We were sort of on our own. The theatre and the home Lincoln was taken too, were very fun to see. We then were taken to Lincolns cottage, but again the driver was very vague about where to go, and not helpful at all. I did enjoy seeing the cottage too. Overall, the sites were good, but the "tour" was nothing more than an overpriced taxi ride.
Dumped us out and we got in two, overcrowded public lines at Ford Theater. Thought we were avoiding the public lines by purchasing tickets. The public tours are free. Had people from our group just turn around and leave to go somewhere else. That portion was a terrible value. The Lincoln cottage tour was very nice and the people there did a great job.
