Great tour. It was a rainy day however our tour guide and bus driver did everything possible to make our tour easy, fun and educational. The best way to see D.C.
Given the long lines, which on a relatively hot day, was not high on our list of things to tackle, we opted for the VIP tour - great choice! The guides were spectacular - the various destinations were brought to life through the colorful insights offered by our guide and the boat ride was great!
Covered many of the popular sites. Informative guides..Extra touches that go beyond the norm.Overall, very enjoyable.
Great tour, bypassed lines, Craig was a great tour guide. Only negative was late lunch/no morning snack if needed after capitol.
This is the perfect trip if you have a guest who only has one day to see Washington DC! The amount we saw was amazing, the guide was knowledgeable and engaging, the driver was prompt and skilled, and it was a small group so it felt very personal. Highly recommend it!
If you have a short time to visit and want to see the most, then this is a MUST DO!! Andy was the most entertaining gentleman, full of knowledge and surprise for everyone. A man who has a genuine love for his city, it's history and his chance to share it, a true gem.
I HIGHLY Recommend this tour! We had taken a train from NY to Washington to do this for the day. We saw many memorials such as WWI, Vietnam and the Korean War memorials. There were many vets around and we saw many shaking their hands thanking them for their service. We saw the White House, the Capital, Lincoln Memorial and the Archives. We also saw the Martin Luther King Memorial. Our guide Andy was the best. He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about Washington DC and was VERY passionate throughout the tour. We saw several people stop that were doing their own sightseeing to listen to what he was sharing about what we were seeing at the time. It was the experience of a lifetime.
This was an excellent package. The time at the Capitol is way too short, but the tour was amazing! We had an amazing tour guide by the name of Andy. Andy was a great tour guide and made the experience at every stop very interesting with the level of detail he provided. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I really enjoyed it. Well planned and organised. Wasn't please that we, the paid VIP group had to rush to fit in another (non VIP) groups schedule. The 2 guides were excellent- the guides make all the difference. We had one day to see the main attractions and we did see it all. Vey please with what I paid and received.
It as outstanding as usual. This is my third trip with Viator. My guests and family al enjoyed it very much.
I can highly recommend it!
tour guide and bus driver were great! A full day but happy we saw so much.
Tony and Andy were vantastic!!! Tony new all the short cuts through Washington D.C. Andy really new his material!!! By the time he was done explaining about hte monuments you felt like you were there when it happened. Both Tony and Andy are a real asset to your company. the next time we come to Washington D.C. we will diffentently bock with USA guided tours.
We were doing our first trip to DC and thought this was a great way to get acquainted with the city and th monuments. Definitely so worth the money and the time.
Very through tour - covers lots of points of interest. We lucked out and got to see the senate chamber at the US Capital.
An excellent way to see Washington when you do not havé enough time in the city
Very good value
Good tour guides
Very thorough and informative. Adam is an excellent guide and source of knowledge. Tony, our driver, was outstanding in helping my mother on and off with her wheelchair. Top shelf all around.
Although our tour was on an overcast, rainy day, it was excellent. We were provided with rain ponchos and proceeded as planned. Denise, our tour guide, and Lee, our driver, were both experts at their tasks. Denise was so well informed on every monument and its history that we all learned a great deal at each site. Lunch was a bit of a problem at the boat trip so my husband and I opted to have lunch at the dock and rejoin the tour upon its return. Overall, this is just the tour to take for your one day introduction to DC. I highly recommend it.
The tour was wonderful. I only had a few days in DC and wanted to see as much as I could while there. Patricia, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and Tony our Van driver was always there when we needed, along with cold bottles of water! I especially like the FDR and Martin Luther King monuments and Patricia's explanation of each. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants an easy, intelligent view of as much of DC as they can see in only 1 day.
