Our guide was excellent, giving lots of information and at the same time being funny from time to time, which made everybody relaxed and friendly. I had run the Marine Corps Marathon the day before this trip, and the combination of being driven around plus having the bus with us the whole time when we got off to walk some places was perfect for my legs. I would definitely recommend this type of tour over the hop on hop off type, even if you haven't run a marathon!

As a tourist on my own with limited time, and my first visit to Washington, my guided day tour of Washington more than lived up to my expectations. It was not only full of factual information but great and enjoyable fun. The tour guide was excellent. A wonderful young man who knew his subject matter very well but provided local, and often very humourous anecdotes, which gave the flavour of living in Washington. The bus driver also was wonderful and courteous and helpful. The bus tour began as a group of individuals, both foreigners and visiting Americans but ended up being a great day shared by all. I would not hesitate to go on another Viator if offered.

The tour was great, covering all the most important things to see in DC. The best things about the tour were the guide and the bus driver.

Absolutely interesting, with empathy for the monuments and what they represent. Having a son in the military, I could feel the respect that our guide showed to this sense of duty. For my wife and me, it was a very emotional experience. He was funny when he had to be and respectful and sensitive when he needed to be.

Our tour guide was wonderful, and we covered so many things in just 6 hours. We could have never gotten to see them all. He was very knowledgeable and made the day fun despite the 98 degree temperature. He was even nice enough to supply cold bottled water for us.

Our guide was absolutely terrific! It was our first time in DC. Even though it was only a 6 hour tour, we saw all of the significant monuments. The key though, was how knowledgeable our guide was. He was able to point out details to us that we never would have noticed on our own. Best value of any tour we have ever been on!

Absolutely terrific. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and offered suggestions for sightseeing after the tour. Like instead of waiting in line at the Washington Monument why not go up in the tower of the Old Post Office Building, the view is fantastic. The content of the tour itself was excellent. A very good balance of monuments/places that we actually visited and got off the bus and those which we slowly drove by. The tour covered far more of Washington, D.C. than just the major monuments - Embassy Row National Cathedral, Alexandria, etc. Excellent choice for lunch Pentagon City Mall, very good variety of places to eat that were reasonably priced, better than the eateries at Union Station or even the cafeterias at many of the Smithsonian museums. If you are visiting Washington, D.C. for the first time whether for a week or a few days this is the tour to take to start your visit and I do believe it is a very reasonable price.

This was a fantastic experience for our family. Our 3 boys loved the tour and so did my husband and I! We got to see so many things on the tour and it was wonderful to have such a knowledgeable and helpful tour guide. Thanks so much for this great tour of our nation's capital!! We would recommend this tour to anyone!
