We went Memorial dayso expected to have to wait everywhere, but there seemed plenty of buses and we didn't have a problem getting on or off ,thought all the drivers with their commentary were most interesting.Can't beat a hop on hop off love them
The driver was VERY knowledgable and incredibly informative! My wife as myself were both impressed! We want to bring the whole family next trip and plan on using the same tour!
We always take the Hop-on Hop-off Trolley Tour when in Washington, D.C. It serves all ages.
This was an excellent way to get around the city and see the monuments. The drivers were very knowledgable and shared interesting information as we went along. The concept of getting off the trolley and getting back on when you want is an awesome idea. I purchased a two-day tour on-line before I left for the trip, and very much enjoyed both tours that I took (one thru the residential areas, and one thru the monuments). I found all those who work for the organization (starting with my on-line purchase agent) to be helpful and friendly. This company is highly recommended.
Couldn't have been better. Drivers very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to make the trips we took very enjoyable. It was a lot of fun and on the first day, at the end of his shift, the driver took us to our motel instead of dropping us off at the designated stop. Highly recommend Old Town Trolley to anyone visiting the D.C. area. Thank you drivers for all your insight and for being so cordial.
Excelent choice to take the Trolley to visit Washington DC. Definately recommend to take it at least 2 days if you do want to visit most of the main sightings of the city. The live tour made it very personal and fun, drivers gave the tour with some very interesting "Did you Knows".
The trolley/tour guide was knowledgable and kind.

The best thing we did. The drivers were awesome. They were funny and knowledgeable about the history of all the memorials. We never had to wait to long to catch a trolley. They helped make our trip the best we have ever taken. Thanks so much for the most amazing trip ever.
This is a definite must tour to take! This was my 2nd trip to DC and my sister's 1st. Since we didn't have a car to drive, we decided to take the bus tour. It was so convenient to hop on and off at the different locations. The drivers were so knowledgeable and helpful. They shared so much information about the different monuments and memorials. Everyone on the bus with us were so happy with our drivers! We will definitely be taking this tour again when we go back for another visit!
The drivers were terrific narrators with interesting commentary throughout the tour.

Be warned: Only drawback was for being in DC during April 2013 (which corresponded with Cherry Blossom Festival and spring break!), the crowds at some trolley stops were large towards the end of the day/ run, with no space on our trolley for more passengers. Otherwise, the entire 1day use of the pass was well worth the price!
