The best way to get around. Sometimes the drivers get intense about following the rules on board. Some are fantastic.

Sometimes it could be difficult to hear the driver. This was not always their fault as several other people were noisy and inconsiderate. However, some drivers were definitely clearer and louder than others.

I just wish that the trolley was air conditioned. The temp was 95 so it was hard to enjoy it as much as we could have if we were comfortable.

The only suggestion I have is that there should be a better description of where the stops are. We sat in front of the Air and Space Museum for almost 30 minutes and didn't realize till we called that we were supposed to be on the other side of the building. But once we got on, it was great. Saw a lot of the city that I have never seen before.

The tour guides were great, none of the "read it out of the guidebook." We had three different drivers. The only drawback was that the trolley stopped too early in the day. If we hopped off, we had to rush through what we wanted to see and even rush lunch to get back to trolley for the next stop we wanted. If we return to DC, this will be a must-do again, just to ride the entire three routes.

Wonderful tours. Only problem was that trolleys were not on time. We had to wait and it was crowded, the morning tour around the Mall was wonderful with a great tour guide.

The trolley tour is worth the money. Be sure to start early so that you get time to travel at least two of the loops.

Very informative! It's great you can hop on and off on their stops to appreciate the sights better. I would give it a full day though and try to maximize and appreciate the sights. Just remember to line up early to get the tickets.

A lovely way to see the city, though much historical information is sacrificed for more anecdotal details. The drivers were remarkably good, delivering information nonstop while negotiating DC traffic.
