This was really an excellent tour. The guide was knowledgeable, conversational and gave very good directions. This was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
The tour was amazing. Our tour guide Mr E was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The tour was prompt, very informative, and got back on time. I highly recommend the Moonlight Tour.
Our guide was wonderful! Don't remember his real name - used Mr. History. Only complaint was that we didn't stop at the White House. Cut a little time off other stops and make the White House a real stop
So glad I booked this tour! I was in DC for the first time, for work, and wanted a tour where I would see the major monuments, but it had to be in the evening due to my schedule. This was perfect for my first time in DC! And everything is so beautiful at night! My tour guide, Mr. HIstory, was the BEST. So entertaining and full of knowledge. He really engaged with the group and made it a fun night! I highly recommend the Moonlight Trolley Tour!
United States of ...
We enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide, Mike, had a lot of stories to tell and make the tour fun.
Tour guide Sooner Steve was excellent--personable and knowledgeable
Wonderful tour that was a highlight of our visit to Washington DC
Even if you see the monuments during the day, it's a totally different experience in the evening...
The tour guide whose name I believe was Anthony was very informing and funny. All the local insights and stories were very interesting. I would certainly recommend this tour to a friend.
Great tour. The driver was funny and quite knowledgeable about the history of DC.
We had an amazing moonlight tour, which was mainly due to our tour guide. John aka Mr. History truly made our tour one to remember. He was clearly someone that loved what he did, which made everyone on the tour love it too! He had non-stop stories and facts about everything, and loved answering any and all questions. He would basically stop in the middle of the road to make sure everyone got good views and pictures of whatever we were looking at, he had everyone on the trolley laughing with his antics. I could honestly go on and on about Mr. History. Me and my boyfriend both agree that the reason we loved the tour so much was due to him being our guide.
Really enjoyed this tour, the guide was very knowledgeable. Plenty of time to stop and take photos.
This tour was the highlight our our trip to D.C.! Luckily we booked it in advance as it was sold out when we arrived at the Trolley. We took our 8 and 10 year old and they really enjoyed it. We loved that we could get off the Trolley at the Lincoln Memorial and walked around - we weren't rushed to get back on and we were able to take great pictures. Anthony, our tour guide was incredible! Highly recommend this tour for everyone!
Great driver with lots of historical details.........one of the best things we did in DC.
I never fill these out, but we had the best tour guide that we have ever had on any trip, anywhere! I am sorry to say that I don't remember his name, but he was born and raised in the DC are and his father is buried at Arlington. He was extremely knowledgable and funny. We loved it and it would be the one thing I went back to do again!
The tour guide was friendly and engaging. The monuments at night were spectacular. The bus very comfortable. Great way to see a lot of ground in a few hours.
Our driver, Mr. Smiley, was wonderful and we had a great time. It is a beautiful and informative trip.
The driver was very informative and seeing the monuments at night is very beautiful.
Great tour. Guide was very friendly - same guy we used on a morning hop on/off trolley tour. It rained a little so hard to see through the plastic window shades that were all wet. We were given enough time to take pictures at the stops even though it was a crowded tourist season spring break.
This was a great tour. Our tour guide, Just Joe, was very knowledgeable, found a way to make personal connections to many of the sites, and could turn anything into a joke. We had a blast learning from him! I would definitely recommend this tour as the first thing you do in DC, because it helps you get the lay-of-the-land, and you can see all the major monuments and sites right away!
Some things that I think should go in the Viator Information section, though: 1 You can check in at the desk inside Union Station, but you don't have to, and they don't take electronic tickets there. But, the easier thing to do is just get in line at the front of Union Station they take paper or electronic vouchers there. 2 There will be a LONG line at the front of Union Station, but don't worry, there are multiple trolleys for each time slot. 3 If you don't want to get off the trolley at each of the stops, you don't have to! That helps to know if you are traveling with elderly or disabled friends. 4 Bring cash to tip your driver/tour guide. You'll want to!
The tour took us by the major monuments in Washington, DC, It was just last week, so it was not dark enough to really appreciate the monuments at night. However, we still enjoyed it and the trolley was comfortable. Jewel was our driver/guide and she was fantastic! She had quite a personality and interacted with her tourist riders personally. Her name says it all! She is truly a jewel for the Viator company! We had a great time!
