My group had an amazing trip around the monuments with Sooner Steve, despite the inclement weather. He was full of interesting historical facts and so knowledgeable about the city. It was pouring with rain and not all the others on the bus wanted to get off to see the monuments, and he was nice enough to take those on the bus, off to see other sights while those of us who wanted to see the sights did so. He was even prepared for the very wet sightseers and handed us paper towels to dry us off! I would definitely recommend this tour to others!
We had a blast and the tour was a nice way to see D.C. before our walking tour. The tour guide had a wonderful knowledge of the city.
Our guide was Bill. What wonderful commentary he gave us.We were not rushed on any of our stops and had been given informative comments on the way. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.
Excellent trip :- We left at 7;00 and return to the station after 10:00 so were gone for more than three hours. Saw Linciln Memorial , Iwo Jima, Martin Luther king memorial and others. Guide was excellent would recommend for people with limited time at Washington or want to get to the more remote memorials easily.
Thanks
Our tour was fantastic. Jason had wonderful information to share about the city and gave us plenty of time to take pictures at the sites.
Would love to see the US Military Service Memorial on the tour.
Outstanding tour! Tour guide, Bill Thomas was exceptional: friendly, well informed and articulate. The memorials we saw sparkled in the darkness and the three stops during wish we had time to get out of the bus and spend time were inspiring. We walked around 1. FDR and MLK, Jr. memorial, 2. Lincoln, World War II and Viet Nam memorials and 3. Iwo Jima statue. From the bus we saw and learned the history of Arlington Cemetery (the Lees,
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the eternal light flickering at JFK's gravesite), Jefferson Memorial and other historic areas.
It was an awesome and educational night and
I recommend it with enthusiasm.
Mike, our very knowledgeable tour guide, was excellent. We had a lot of time to get out of the bus and look around at various points of interest, and between stops we were treated to excellent views and informative, entertaining stories about D.C.'s most exciting and intriguing landmarks. We would definitely do this again (particularly as the museums don't stay open this late)!
This tour was totally worth the money I paid (only £19). It lasted 2.5 hours and we saw all the monuments and memorials we wanted to see, the tour guide was very informative and knew so much about the history of the city. I would defiantly do a tour like this again.
Absolutely wonderful tour. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and added humor to his delivery which made this trip a delight. The sights were gorgeous, and just a great experience. I would recommend this to young and old alike.
A brilliant evening lasting nearly 4 hours. Our driver, Bill, gave us a very interesting tour with lots of stories as we whizzed around D.C. The stops were timed to perfection and we were guided in what to look for. Washington at night was truly"awesome" and the trolley bus tour gave you the safe way to see it all. Well worth every penny, oops dollar.
