This tour was incredible. Because of it we got to see so many sites so much quicker than we normally would. Our tour guide, Gil, knew so about every site we passed and always had interesting information to share.
This tour was worth every penny! It was one of the highlights of our trip. Our tour leader Gil was outstanding - his knowledge was unbelievable and made this tour truly memorable.
I actually went on this twice, once with coworkers and once with my daughters. The tours were great, if hot and unairconditioned, except I think you should shorten time "on the ground" spent visiting a particular monument, to add in more monuments. For instance, the Jefferson Memorial was not included. Other than this and the wait in line, it was a really great tour. Well worth the fee.
the best tour I've taken, my two kids loved the experience and want to do the tour again, and our guest from California enjoyed the tour and would also take the tour again. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and really covered most of the city. well done!
Great way to to see DC. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.
It was the hilight of our trip to D.C. I cannot say enough about our excellent driver/tour guide. He covered all the big sites and hit some off the main drag too, like stopping in front of the gates to Arlington National Cemetery so we could see the eternal flame by night. He kept us out an extra hour and then returned all 50 of us to our various hotels/subway stops. He was incredible!
We actually missed our tour start time because of a flight delay on the way to DC. The staff I talked to were very helpful, and after talking to Leah we were able to get the tour changed to a daytime trolley tour. During the day tour (a hop-on/hop-off trolley tour) we had two different tour guides and both were great. My wife and I highly recommend Historic Tours of America!
We really enjoyed this tour. It's a great way to see Washington D.C., especially at night! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Just wished we could have been able to stop and take pictures of the White House. Unfortunately, as we drove by the White House another bus was in front of our bus and we missed the opportunity to get a picture. Otherwise, highly recommend this tour!
This was a great way to see all of the major monuments in one tour. Since we were there in June, it was the perfect temperature at this time of day and the monuments were absolutely beautiful and inspiring lit up at night. Our driver was full of knowledge and information and tid-bits that he shared as we drove. Even my husband and son who are more of the "get out and do it yourself" kind of guys enjoyed this tour. I think the setting sun, the tour guide's information and the perfect length of this tour made it work for them too. I would defintely recommend this tour to anyone visiting DC.
Our guide was so knowledgeable. Very flexible by showing something that wasn't even on the tour. Even the off and on rain didn't put a damper on the tour. Highly recommend it to anyone.
I attended an evening trolley tour of the monuments with my daughter. She is in a wheelchair, and we were handled very well by the driver. We had a great time. Thanks so much for helping to make our visit to Wahshington D. C. so memorable
What a wonderful experience! Our driver/tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We've seen the monuments before during the day, but they were so impressive lit up at night. We enjoyed the fact that we were allowed to get off the trolley and walk around several of the monuments. This is a great tour to help you decide which monuments you want to go back to later. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
Exceptional. It was so worth the price. We were able to cover all the beautiful sites around D.C. The tour guide was top notch. He gave such a personal look into the history of the monuments. Would do it again.
We really enjoyed this tour. It was neat to see all the memorials at night (riding rather than walking). Our tour guide was very informative. Would suggest this to all Washington DC visitors
Tour was great , I forgot the drivers name but he did an outstanding job. I have recommended the tour to family that live in the DC area and to family and friends where I live in
Oklahoma. wonderful experience
Note the driver was driving the ful size bus. Thanks again for the experience .
