Worth the cost, seeing the sights at night was great! Guide was very nice and informative.
Great for families! Definitely worth the money. We took 4 teens on one of first nights in DC. All of us enjoyed the tour and narrative by the driver. Was a great way to see a ton of memorials and historical locations that we would not have found on our own.
The tour was perfect! John our driver was personable and informative, which made the tour! We're planning on coming again next year and hope to take advantage of another tour.
We had a terrific tour guide. He really went out of his way to share lots of interesting facts and was very interactive and funny with our tour group. He really went the extra mile to make sure everyone got to see what they wanted and safely returned most people back to their hotels. My son has lived in DC for a couple of years and he really enjoyed the tour as well.
We loved our moonlight tour of the monuments! I much prefered the trolley to the double decker buses. The trolleys had great big windows (open air, unless there is inclement weather for which there are roll down plastic window coverings) and were a nice size...not too big. Our driver, Congo Ken, was awesome! He was not only knowledgeable, it was obvious he really loved giving all of the historic information and telling his wonderful stories along the way...It made the experience that much better!
A great way to see the major landmarks with enough time to take hop out and take photos.
Very knowledgeable guide. Plenty of stops for a refreshment and photo ops
Our tour guide Eric made this tour! He was incredible! So friendly and knowledgeable, he got to know everyone on board. He didn't stop talking once! Our stops were good, the only downside were all the school groups being a bit disrepectful at monuments. The sights were beautiful though. Eric dropped us to our hotel on the way home which was really nice, and meant we didn't have to make our way home from the station. The best part of this tour was Eric - thankyou for being so fabulous and passionate about your beautiful city!
We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Eric, was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgable, professional, yet funny. Well worth the price.
We loved this trip and were able to see everything that we wanted to see in one trip! One recomendation that I have is to make sure that you print your voucher, do not try and use your phone, ipad etc. with the barcode on it.
we enjoyed this. our driver was terrific. we would have liked more time at monument stops (fdr) .
This tour was incredible. Because of it we got to see so many sites so much quicker than we normally would. Our tour guide, Gil, knew so about every site we passed and always had interesting information to share.
This tour was worth every penny! It was one of the highlights of our trip. Our tour leader Gil was outstanding - his knowledge was unbelievable and made this tour truly memorable.
I actually went on this twice, once with coworkers and once with my daughters. The tours were great, if hot and unairconditioned, except I think you should shorten time "on the ground" spent visiting a particular monument, to add in more monuments. For instance, the Jefferson Memorial was not included. Other than this and the wait in line, it was a really great tour. Well worth the fee.
