At our first stop, the Jefferson Memorial, we found it difficult to locate our guide. We were given 5 minutes to look and photograph the memorial. Not being able to find our guide, we quickly returned to catch the bus; upon arriving at the bus locations we actually thought we had been left behind. We couldn't enjoy the memorials because we were always trying to locate our guide to prevent missing the bus. Presentations seemed rushed. At the Lincoln Memorial, a storm of heavy rain and lightning began. One couple was left behind. This was terribly disappointing to witness when a storm altered the pickup location. Granted the storm was uncontrollable, but overall the tour was rushed with poor directions and was not enjoyed by the three of us. In all, we didn't even take a dozen photos, terribly disappointing.

One third of the sights necessitated getting off the bus and holding a flashlight to see the monuments. ie., Korean, Vietnam and WWI. The bus driver was excellent and although I stayed on the bus during those dark night sites, the bus driver was even more knowledgeable than the guide.
