This is worth doing if you don't have any other guided tours planned. The driver and tour guide were very informative, but I found that you get a lot of the same information if you take more tours. The sites you really need to see at night are the Lincoln and Iwo Jima memorials. However, if you take other guided tours and don't need the information given, then you can visit these sites without a tour because parking is available and nearby.

Great tour! Our guide was phenomenal! He truly made our evening with all his knowledge, little details and stories. My only complaint was that we were really rushed at a few of the memorials and barely had time to take pictures let alone take in all history and meaning. I recommend this highly for seeing the monuments at night, but make sure you take time on your own to go and really spend some time taking everything in.

I got great pictures and the tour guide knew everything we went by and was eager to answer all of our questions!! Not as much fun during in the spring after the time change because it is still light out for the first 2 hours of the trip - but still definitely worth doing any other time!!! I would do it again!!

I enjoyed the tour except for the fact that the guide continuously gave his opinion about security measures and how stupid he felt they were throughout the entire tour. If he had kept those to himself our tour would have lasted three hours rather than four.

No identification on the bus that it was affiliated with Viator. Sat in the rain 30 minutes waiting for a Viator tour.

The tour guide was a bit like an old school marm and treated us like grammar school students. She was very sweet, but would have fit in better with a much younger crowd, i.e. 10-12 year olds. Also the night was cold and rainy and at one of the stops our bus was nowhere to be found when we came back to our drop off spot. The tour guide had to call on her cell phone several times before she was able to get a hold of the driver. He had parked quite a ways from where we were, so we had to walk in the cold rain to where he had parked. He was at least a full block ahead of the furthest tour bus, so I am not sure why he had to park that far. Other than that, the memorials were beautiful, and the guide despite her demeanor was informative and knowledgeable. If I return, I will try a different tour company.

It was too cold to enjoy. The tour guide appeared knowledgeable about DC, but poor judgment was exercised by tour management given the weather conditions.

The guide was knowledgeable enough although she didn't go inside to Lincoln Memorial and Jefferson Memorial. However, the organization was bad. We waited in cold for the bus then a small bus came with people who got picked up from hotels. They then uploaded everyone from the bus and went to get a new and bigger bus. We wasted about 30 minutes. With accurate count of people, this shouldn't have happened.

At our first stop, the Jefferson Memorial, we found it difficult to locate our guide. We were given 5 minutes to look and photograph the memorial. Not being able to find our guide, we quickly returned to catch the bus; upon arriving at the bus locations we actually thought we had been left behind. We couldn't enjoy the memorials because we were always trying to locate our guide to prevent missing the bus. Presentations seemed rushed. At the Lincoln Memorial, a storm of heavy rain and lightning began. One couple was left behind. This was terribly disappointing to witness when a storm altered the pickup location. Granted the storm was uncontrollable, but overall the tour was rushed with poor directions and was not enjoyed by the three of us. In all, we didn't even take a dozen photos, terribly disappointing.

One third of the sights necessitated getting off the bus and holding a flashlight to see the monuments. ie., Korean, Vietnam and WWI. The bus driver was excellent and although I stayed on the bus during those dark night sites, the bus driver was even more knowledgeable than the guide.
