We really lucked out with great weather and since the other family didn't show it ended up being a private tour of just our family and the guide. It was totally cool to see the monuments at night and since my family loves biking it was great to cover a greater distance with ease after a day of walking to all the Smithsonians. Our guide was very informative and I saw monuments I have never seen in previous trips to DC because they were too far to walk to. The most memorable was the Thomas Jefferson memorial riding along the tidal basin with a gorgeous sunset. This tour was a highlight of our Washington, DC trip. Would highly recommend this bike tour..
We loved the ride and our tour guide was excellent. Informative and attentive to all of the riders. Thank you
By far the most enjoyable time I have had visiting DC. I wish there was more time to spend at some of the memorials. Kelvin was very polite and considerate. Not sure if would agree with all of his opinions on some of the historical figures, but to each his own. If I could give it 6 stars, I would.
This was a fantastic tour! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The bike ride was not difficult and the time at each stop was just enough. My family and I had a great time on this trip and would take another bike tour from this company in Washington DC or any of the other cities listed. I highly recommend this trip!
A great way to see the memorials at night. The tour guide was great. We had 7-10 minutes at each memorial to explore. My 12 year old did fine on the bike. I used a tandem bike for my 8 year old, which was new to me and manuevering on crowded sidewalks was a bit of an adventure. We stopped in front of the White House just in time to watch the 3 helicopters carrying the President back home!
We thought this tour was well worth it. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. It was a lot of fun!
It was a wonderful way to see the monuments. The monuments are a lot farther apart than one thinks! Our guide, Brett, had many fun facts and we felt very safe riding around such a big city. A great tour!
We've taken a few different "Monuments at Night" in the past and this was by far the best. The bikes were comfortable, our guide Ryan was friendly and very knowledgeable. Being on bike allows you to "park" even closer than you do on the big bus tours so you see more in the same amount time.
Excellent tour and brilliant guide. Commendable. William Haddad
My husband and I loved this experience! Our tour guide was fabulous and biking through the sites was such a treat! We will do this again!
This tour was great. The pace was comfortable and all the monuments looked really nice with the changing light. It was our family's best experience while in Washington DC. Matt is a wonderful guide.
Great tour ! Perfect for us 2 adults and a teen with only a day to spent in Washington. Excellent guide polite, could answer all questions, always smiling, looked like he was truly having fun with us. Length of tour just right. We covered all main memorials and learned a lot. Very good bikes, comfortable, easy to ride. Very safe itinerary. All staff at the bike counter was also very nice and helpful. We were very satisfied. Only difficulty the heat ! We were glad when the sun finally set down...
I love touring cities by bike. This tour delivered on all counts - equipment, safety, and a topnotch guide. Best of all, though, was being able to see our nation's capital by night. I've been to DC many times, but this was a unique, entertaining and insightful experience. The tour was perfectly suited for families.
Great fun! We were very lucky with the weather the sunset ride was beautiful and then finished spectacularly with the city lights
A very good tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgable. We went with a group of friends. We had 5 children with us; ages 9-14 and 6 adults and everyone loved it. The bike ride was not strenuous at all and we often stopped to walk around and visit the monuments. We would do it again.
