A little wobbly at the start, as the bus and tour guide were late and the group was standing and wondering what was happening. However, once we were on our way the driver and tour guide were both excellent and the tour provided everything we were promised and again, excellent tour guide Nick???. Very happy to have the river cruise included a week after the end of the season for that. Cheers Harry and Jill Freedman
It was so hot! The complimentary cold water was greatly appreciated. Our tour guide was wonderful! You must be able to stay with the group or else.
This was worth every penny. My wife and I enjoyed every minute. Brian was very informative and I can't say enough to encourage people to book this tour. The junket on the Potomic was the iceing on the cake. :-. G
Nick was a fabulous guide and it was a great way to acclimate to the city
Our trip was great and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Our guide, Christopher, did an amazing job of sharing not only all of the sites, but great history and detail as well. We had a man separate from the group during the tour and Christopher handled that situation very well until all parties were reunited again. It was truly a great day and way to see lots of the historic sites in Washington DC. Thank you!
Andy was very entertaining and informative. Good overview for the limited time we had in DC.
If you have enough time to visit the city in detail, this trip can help you as a very good starting point in order to set the milestones and plan your entire visit otherwise, if you have limited time, this trip is perfect to visit the most important and relevant interest sites of DC. Kudos for Mary and Julio, who made this experience very educational and very funny!! In the underworld they are also known as Bonnie and Clyde
Tour guide excellent, drive great, very interesting stops time flu by
Our tour guide Christopher was the best! So much personality and very knowledgeable. We saw so much in 6 hours we even had a boat ride on the Potomac River. We never could have done all of this on our own and for such an affordable rate.
I could not recommend it more highly. It is awesome and if you tried to do it yourself you'd need at least two who days. Nick our guide was superb in every way.
Nick was an excellent tour guide. He told jokes and interjected real experiences. He made the tour fun.
Great review...Patricia was dynamite with great energy and a ton of interesting facts. Our driver got around the city with ease which would be near impossible to do as a visitor. 5 stars this was a great tour and an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it!
The tour included everything we planned to see. The guide, Nick, was excellent and made it a great experience.
Had a fab day being shown all the main sites of Washington.
Our tour guide Nick was very knowledgeable and and gave us good information of other places and Washington in general as we traveled between the different sites.
Nick has an engaging personality and his sense of wit and humor helped make an enjoyable day even better.
We saw all the key sights of Washington DC, and learned so much during the day. The trip on the river was a very pleasant interlude in the middle of the day. This is a highly recommended trip if you do not have too much time in Washington to see these sights on your own.
What a wonderful day! booked online from Australia, Our tour guide Chris was so informative and charming, he made the day even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour if you only have 1 or 2 days in Washington DC.
This is an awesome tour. Especially if you have limited time, like a one day stop. You get to see all the major monuments and hear a lot of history. Tour guide and driver were fantastic.
Christopher did a great job....very energetic and informative on a very hot day. There was much confusion when you combined some tours into one. More info on what was happening would have helped. Also, tell Christopher how to pronounce Genoa and Jackson Pollack. Perhaps I am the only one who noticed the mispronunciation, but Christopher is such a bright guy I believe he would want to know the correct pronunciation. I would recommend this tour to others. Thank you.
Christopher, our tour guide was wonderful, magnificent, and very attentive to all of our needs, especially those with physical disabilities. He was knowledgeable, gracious, and yes, even funny with those jokes that make you laugh and groan at the same time! He was our man!
We hope to take another one of your tours and would very much want him to be our leader.

It was a great tour because our guide was one of the best! She in her pink outfit, was very entertaining at the same time she knew the history and more insights! The boat ride was not that much for the history part, but was relaxing. Will submit the picture of our guide.
This tour is awesome I enjoy very much.guide Patricia is very good .tour was fantastic a little short in war world 2 memorial but the rest is awesome . Need to include Washington memorial to be super.
My mother and I went to Washington, D.C. for a 3-day weekend. We arrived early on a Friday, checked into our hotel, and headed to the U.S. Navy Memorial where we picked up this tour. After being unsure of which bus to board, we found the right one and departed shortly after. Our tour guide Mary was awesome. She was knowledgeable and funny. She knew so much about the history of the city and its monuments. Ali was our driver and he got us around the city with no problems. We visited the U.S. Capitol unfortunately, the dome was covered in scaffolding, but the building was still amazing, the White House, the World War II Memorial, the MLK, Jr. Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Mary also identified out other points of interest along the way, such as the Eisenhower Administrative Building, Blair House, and the Hoover FBI Building quite ugly. We then dropped some members of the tour off at the Washington Monument. They had purchased the 4-hour tour. Around 2 p.m. we got lunch, then took a 50-minute boat ride on the Potomac. The boat tour guide was great, too. We saw the Watergate Complex, the Kennedy Center of the Performing Arts, and the Pentagon. He gave us some history on the bridges spanning the river. You could also see the Washington Monument, Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials from the river. We got back on the bus and headed over to the Marine Corps Memorial Iwo Jima which was magnificent. The whole tour was fabulous. This is a great way to see the highlights in a day. The only monument you don't see up close is the Jefferson Memorial, but you can always go see it on your own. I found the Korean War Memorial to be hauntingly beautiful. Also, climbing the Washington Monument is not included in this particular tour. If I ever get back to D.C., or any city for that matter, I would definitely take another Viator tour.
This one day tour was fantastic! Considering we only had one day to try and see as much as we could of Washington, we certainly felt we did this with the excellent driver and our guide who was such a joy to spend the day with. Her enthusiasm, passion and love for Washington's history was catching and very entertaining!
We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting beautiful Washington!
