Meet at your pre-arranged trailhead in Yosemite National Park in the morning. You’ll be greeted by your guide, David Lukas, a local botany expert who co-authored 'Sierra Nevada Natural History.' David has more than 20 years of experience leading tours in the Sierra Nevada, so you’re sure to learn a lot about the fascinating natural history of Yosemite on your 5-hour private hike.
Follow David in search of Yosemite’s lush wildflower meadows, whose beauty and fragrance attract pollinators and nature lovers later in the summer, when the fields bloom at higher elevations. You'll see many different species of flowers, including monkey flowers, tiger lilies, paintbrush flowers, shooting starts, asters, buttercups and lupines, all enchanting you with their brilliant displays of color and lovely scents.
Stop frequently to rest, learn about your surroundings, and fuel up with your pre-packed snacks, lunch and water while soaking up the majestic scenery. After your restful lunch, continue exploring the many meadows and fields of Yosemite on your way back to the trailhead, where your tour ends.
