Luzern trip was excellent, the tour lead was a teacher before and he was fluent in many languages, so explained the tour in great details. His photography was good as well, took nice photos of us on my camera for remberance. Boat trip was quite relaxing with photoscenic views of mountains, blue sky, lovely weather. Viator had organised it well.
Outdoor eating places were fantastic. I will recommend the trip to anyone, everywhere there were spring cool water on fountains where we filled our plastic bottles. Water was so tasty coming from top of mountains, we hated any soft drinks.
Brilliant day tour from zurich! Just right if you want to spend the day in luzern
Very short tour of Lucerne but the city itself is so beautiful it was easy to spend the time walking around it and the lake. Drive to Lucerne was picture postcard perfect. Guide was very friendly.
Very nice every thing is good guide and driver soo friendly and very good manners
Everything I wished for the day was amazing from start to finish. Coach driver was great informing us of all points of interest along the way. Will book with your company in the future. Many thanks. Petra Atwell
Very knowledgeable and nice tour guide. Gave us excellent guidance and suggestions of things to do during our six hours of free time in Lucerne.
Lucerne is a very beautiful city. We had six hours of free time to do as we chose, which was great. We were not being rush through the day. We enjoyed the day very much.
We took the right decision to spend the day at Lucerne, we had a lot of sights to see, we took the city tour it was very nice with all the details about it. We enjoyed the old bridge with the paintings inside.. We went to an old restaurant near the Lion monument, we spent time walking in the old town, we visited the Church... If you take with some bread you will have all the swan of the lake around you!
Excellent tour guide that was really very helpful also with my luggage! He has great knowledge of the country which was really entertaining and very interesting!
Superb day!!!! Most people went on to Pilatus, but I stayed in Lucerne and took a cruise, walked everywhere, and saw two beautiful art museums. 'Truly moments to treasure!
My husband and I loved Lucerne! It was beautiful and the weather was great, it rained a little but remained clear for the most part. The drive to Lucerne was beautiful as well. Lucerne is truly a gem and a must see for all the visit Switzerland!
Beautiful tour simply because Lucerne is so lovely. We were combined with a Spanish group which was a bit disconcerting. However the guide managed it all.
One of the best tours I ever had, it is amazing and very nice tour, specially going on the top 2130 Meters with this nice 75 years old train, and lurcene was an amzaing cool city and the walk was enough for us to discover many things and to make nice shopping, highly recommended

It was an awesome trip! We a family of 5 adults all thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip. The drive down from Zurich to Lucerne was simply beautiful! I would surely recommend others to go for it. The duration of the trip is more than enough to experience everything en-route as well as in Lucerne. Stay at Zurich, and take such day tours to all the locations. One can enjoy the best of everything!
Very well organized tour, and excellent and friendly tour guide.
Being off the main roads and going through the countryside is an added bonus. The day in Lucerne was wonderful and the commentary was exceptional from our tour guide. The day was perfect and we leisurely saw the old town of Lucerne. If you come to Switzerland, this is one place that should be on your itinerary.
If we go back to Switzerland we want to stay in Lucerne. Amazing town, beautiful lake, great shops. I think this tour was probably an hour or 2 too long. We ended up sitting around waiting for the bus because the bus moves on to other places after it drops you off. The tour guide takes you to go see the Lion statue then you're on your own with the other tourists for an hour. After that hour the people who purchased the other tours move on and you stay in the city. Buy your chocolates, food, water etc. at COOP grocery store. I bought chocolate at this one tourist shop and paid 26 francs when I could have bought it for 18 at COOP. They have the same stuff all the tourist shops have but for less. Same in Zurich, go to COOP to buy all your items. Lucerne is a beautiful city with all the shops and cafes on the river. Totally worth the money.
Our first stop was Mt Rigi to let off people which was nice to take a couple of photos. Then we stopped at Lucerne where we walked around at our own pace which was really lovely. We included the cruise in our trip which I highly recommend.
