It was fun going up through the snow to the top. Visibility was good on the way up but then blizzard conditions set in. Cog wheel train exciting. Vitznau was beautiful. lake trip excellent. Luzerne interesting. Tour guide was very informative.

One of the highlights of our whole 4 week holiday. Well worth the money. Beautiful breathtaking views that just takes yr breath away.

This was a delightful day. The mountain was exciting. The boat trip was wonderful with the exception of having to upgrade to 1st class to sit topside. Lucerne was one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited and I hope to go back again one day. Our guide was helpful and very cordial. Highly recommend this tour.

We absolutely loved every minute of our journey ascending / descending Mt Rigi! Our climb / hike was non-guide accompanied but everything from the our 1st Swiss salamander encounter to reaching the summit Rigi Kulm was spectacular. A perfect day with never-ending alpine panorama. A wonderful way to check out future hiking / trekking trails in the area. For the guided part, Roland our guide was really fantastic with helpful information on the best hiking/trekking trails of the country. Couldn't have picked a more awesome excursion tackling this alpine beauty! Many thanks!

Did an Online Booking on Viator for a trip to Mt Rigi. The site is easy to use. All I had to do was carry a printout of my booking. Rest worked like clockwork. Great trip. You do a cable car , a cog wheel mountain train and a relaxing boat ride. With a very friendly guide too !

perfect trip best thing is that we are on our own , Rigi Mountain views were perfect , the train ride and the boat ride were awesome Lucerene is very wonderful city even better than Zurich

This is a pleasant trip and a great value! Starts with a comfortable bus ride to the Sky Tram station which is spectacular with time at the top to explore trails and enjoy the view before continuing up the mountaintop on the train. The train is clean timely with spectacular views. Once at the top soak up the views hike or eat. Then ride back down the train to arrive at the boat dock to load up for the ride home. A wonderful day on the lake across to lucerne. Everyone was helpful and organized. We chose to stay in Lucerne late and take the train back to Zurich .

Would definitely recommend! Great Trip! I wasnt sure whether to choose this or one of the others advertised on this website but my aunt who used to live in Switzerland suggested that this tour would be best because you get to ride a cogwheel train, take a boat trip and walk around Luzern all for a reasonable price.
Glad I took this advice! We didnt get bored all day because there was so much variation in things to do and the scenery.
The guide on the coach trip to and from the pick places (two 1 hour and a half coach trips) was kind, interesting and helpful!
If you are looking for a day trip to see the swiss countryside, a mountaintop view and a walk around a quaint city then this is it!
We were also blessed with good weather!

The day trip to Mt. Rigi was more than we expected. The views were amazing and the tour was very organized. After descending from the mountain, you are taken on a short boat trip to Lucerne which also rivals Zurich for its scenic views.
