After a interesting drive over the Albis Pass (793 m / 2600 ft) and along the shores of the Lake of the Four Cantons, arrive in Lucerne. Enjoy a short city tour of the main sights: Lion Monument, Chapel Bridge, Town Hall, Jesuit Church and new Concert and Congress Hall. You will have one hour at leisure to become acquainted with this marvelous town.
You will continue to Engelberg, where the breathtaking journey upwards begins, surrounded by high alpine glaciers. You will behold the spectacular sight of the glacier's deep crevasses and gigantic ice boulders from the revolving cable car, "Rotair".
Bask in the magnificent scenery from the top at 3020m / 10,000ft! The magnificent views of the Alps await you. Several restaurants, a sun terrace and the Ice Grotto are just a few of the attractions you can visit. Go by IceFlyer real close to the crevasses, use the Fun Lift for sledging or perhaps the child in you will be inspired to have a snowball-fight!
