I thought Christina was great! She was very knowledgeable and engaging, and made the tour feel like it went by so quickly because we were having so much fun. The tour also offered information about the city as well, so I learned a lot about Zurich as I also learned about chocolate! A great experience! Would definitely recommend!
It was wonderful. If you have the time, it's well worth the cost. We have found that these types of tours go way beyond expectations, because while you need to walk from one chocolatier to another, you are learning about the city and the locals and their culture. This was not our first chocolate tour, nor will it be the last.
Our guide, Christine, was very likeable. She was extremely knowledgeable, not only about chocolate, but about Zürich in general. We made at least five stops, and enjoyed chocolate candy, hot chocolate, and even cupcakes. A wonderful tour that I would definitely recommend.
Such a fun tour! We loved going to the different shops and tasting sweets and our guide (Kerrin) was fabulous and so friendly. Would absolutely recommend doing this tour if you have a sweet tooth!
Thank you a great tour we were in a small group the guide was fantastic. Her knowledge about chocolate was impressive and interesting. She was focused on everybody finding out each persons taste and ensuring a great time for all We tasted lots of chocolate that I wouldn't normally try she encouraged you to explore and discover more. The walk around Zurick was also an experience we won't forget for some time.
This fantastic tour will take you through the streets of old Zürich from chocolate shop to chocolate shop. My knowledgeable guide imparted information about the history of the city as well as about the history of chocolate in Switzerland. At times we stopped and paused to discuss the finer points of chocolate from what you should look for when you enter a chocolate shop you are unfamiliar with, to how you should taste chocolate so you can access all of the flavors its maker imbued it with.
Although this tour has is regular stops, mostly to chocolate shops only the locals know about, the guide noticed that a couple of the people on our tour loved salty licorice. In honor of this preference, we stopped at an additional shop along the way that specialized in licorice and fresh gummy candies. This stop did not cost us another stop, any explanation, or time. The guide did this merely as a personal touch.
I greatly enjoyed this tour and will recommend it to all who go to Zürich. If you want to see the city and enjoy chocolate, take this tour. You will learn a lot and enjoy plenty of delicious, Swiss chocolate.
The tour was fantastic. Our guide, Kerrin, was personable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. What more could you ask for? A delightful way to learn about chocolate and see the old town. Highly recommended!
Amazing!!! Exceeded all of our expectations. Karrin was a fantastic guide! She was engaging, fun, smart and took us to some amzing places. Many of which we never would have found on our own. We not only learned a lot about Zurich and the history of the chocolate industry in switzerland, but also learned about and tasted many different types of chocolate. A very fun way to see the streets of Zurich. Was with my teenage son, who also had a blast. Would highly recomend. Was one of the highloghts of our trip.
Great personality/character and enthusiasm for the tour from the guide. Perhaps more chocolate samples could have been included, especially since the cost of this tour is so high... those stops/and chocolates and especially the hot chocolate were all delicious but it just needed something more. Would definitely recommend...
