What You Can Expect
Meet your guide at Sihlquai Bus Terminal, and hop aboard your coach to travel to Zurich West, the area stretching between the rail tracks and Limmat River. Once the city’s industrial heartland, Zurich West is now a center of economic growth that’s fascinating for locals and visitors alike. The dilapidated warehouses and factories of old have been transformed into buzzing art galleries, studios, shops and restaurants, spawning a place for the city’s creatives to hang out.
Listen to your guide tell Zurich’s very own West Side Story as you see the sights during a 1-hour tour of the area. Most of your sightseeing here is done from the comfort of your coach, with a short stroll to stretch your legs and see some of the more eminent buildings close up.
After learning about the renaissance of Zurich West, travel to the city’s outskirts for a quick visit to the Lindt & Sprüngli chocolate factory shop in Kilchberg. Use the stop to shop for your favorite Lindt chocolate, and browse the exclusive confectionery and discounted factory rejects — chocolate that isn’t in perfect shape, but delicious nonetheless.
What happens next depends on the time of year. In the summer (April 1 to October 18), enjoy a leisurely walk around the shores of Lake Zurich followed by a 1-hour sightseeing cruise. Admire the mountains as you cruise, and then disembark at Bürkliplatz, by Zurich’s famous Bahnhofstrasse, where your tour ends. In the winter (October 19 to March 31), wind up your tour with a hot beverage in one of Zurich West’s trendy restaurants, and then finish back at Sihlquai Bus Terminal.
We enjoyed the trip , the guide (Mr. Joulious) has added us a lot of information about Zurich and Switzerland in general. Also we enjoyed a delicious drink of hot chocolate and Lindt chocolate.
It was very interesting trip. I enjoyed lot. The tour guide is very good and she explained every single thing in english and it was very good thing for us as foriners.
The boat trip was fantastic. Only thing disturb us was bad weather in Zurich that day. Otherwise the trip was very good.

Definitely recommended if you love chocolate :)
Outstanding tour! The chocolate Factory outlet stop was great. The boat cruise was amazing and the long walk back through all the shopping areas was a plus as well.
Sad not seeing factory
Personal visiting old Escher Wyss as served there my apprentiship
Tourguide mentined "engineering" strength of Switzerland, great.
Visit to the Lindt chocolate shop was nice. Boat ride was relaxing...
Chocolates are cheaper here than anywhere else we looked in Munich or Zurich. More time was needed in the Lindt chocolate shop and less time at the warehouse before. Tour guide was very knowledgeable.
