We enjoyed the trip on Zurich sightseeing and old industrial warehouses.

I booked this tour online on a whim, as we had a 5 hour wait between flights and I thought we could see the City in that time. Yep we did, and it was great! Our guide was impressive in not only her knowledge and attention to the detail of the city but in her caring attitude and her ability to swap from English to Spanish and make sure she treated each group with a fairness of time and attention. She took photos of us for us and she made sure everyone was present when she got us all round the pretty Old City. The cog train ride was great and the usual passengers didn't seem to mind that our group took over the train and never stopped clicking and pushing to get the best place to get the next picture. The only problem was nothing to do with the tour and its content. It was the fact there was not enough signage from the railway station to get to the bus station, and no one seemed to know or care - if they spoke English that is. So get a map from the the airport to the train tracks and then from the station to the bus station, and use the station toilet, as the one at the bus station is one of those automated ones that was not pleasant! We loved the tour and as we have so many Swiss Francs left we're going to have to find another trip to go on in Switzerland and we'll certainly use Viator again!

Good tour and just enough time to get to know the main parts of the city.

Our guide didn't really seem to care at all. She would say on the right, when really it was on the left and leave out important words when describing buildings etc. I like Zurich, but this tour didn't really show a lot. Better off just walking around and seeing things yourself.

This tour was really just a drive-by. The two places we stopped -- a lake not the one in the photo with too much time to take photos of the water and a hotel on a hill. The funicular to the hotel was OK, but there was nothing to see but the outside of a hotel once we reached the top. The tour guide also left one couple and their child as she had us running to the funicular. There was a problem with the child so they were slowed down and she had the train leave without them! She eventually had to go back to the funicular to wait for them while we had extra time to look at the outside of a hotel where none of us was staying. Plus it was overcast and so there were no views of the city to see from that hill. The classic photo of Zurich, as shown in your photo, was one we could not capture. The bus just zoomed past that and other important sites. When we reached the Chigall windows and the guide wanted to know who was going back to the starting point with the bus, no one did. No one wanted to. It would have been cheaper to just take a taxi to the one or two places one wanted to see. Your local tour guides are usually great. This is my third country using Viator. The Best of Zurich needs to be altered or you need another tourist operation on the ground.
