Being an independent kind of person given to exploring, this was the ideal one-day excursion. There were also places I wanted to visit, e.g. St Chapelle, which would not have been on the conducted tour. This arrangement allowed me to stay as long as I wanted at certain places of interest. When I grew tired of walking, I took an hourlong cruise on the Seine, leaving from the Pont Neuf, then later had a coffee in a park, and later still, had a lovely meal in a restaurant of my choosing before returning to the train. I'll be telling all my friends about it. First rate!!!

It was definitely a good deal for the money with the travel card included and everything. And the tour operator was very professional. The only problem I had was confirming my trip, because when I called them, they gave me the wrong location to meet them at the Eurostar to pick up my tickets. So I called again the day of and got the right location. So remember to double-check that with the tour company.

This is the best deal we found! You get the Eurostar pass plus subway passes for the day and maps to help you around town. It is much cheaper than to just buy the Eurostar tickets.

This tour consists of roundtrip Eurostar tickets and a one day metro pass. The schedule allows for 10 hours in Paris. If you plan well and the weather cooperates, this is sufficient time for a great day in a great city. The train tickets can be obtained for less money directly from Eurostar, but only if you are able to make your reservations well in advance, though for a last minute trip, this isn't a bad deal. Everything delivered as promised.

We picked up our package without a hitch. We enjoyed our Eurostar ride and used the metro pass extensively. We soon realised that we could not see all we wanted to in the time available to us, so decided to see just 4 attractions, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, Champs Elysees and Palace of Versailles and spend quality time at each. We were not disappointed. We would recommend this trip to anyone with limited time as we had.

The all-day metro pass was a surprise, because they don't tell you about it until after you purchase the package. If you plan your day ahead of time, you can definitely get it all done!

We were provided Paris Metro passes for lines 1, 2, and 3. However, only lines 4 and 5 were available at Gare du Nord, the rail station in Paris. We incurred additional costs for taxi fares.

There is a review that is not accurate, and sadly I read this review and ended up quite disappointed. The Viste Pass you get is NOT a hop on, hop off bus. It is the equivalent of an Oyster card in London. The Viste Pass basically allows you to use the underground and buses around Paris. As you can imagine, I was disappointed. My tip would be to make sure you've researched where you want to go and how you intend to get there!

Had a few issues with ticket issuance and train delays. Once I got there, it was an OK trip. Delays also on the way back. Best to do an overnight! And a definite must for ALL info to be provided at the time of booking! If you are from the US and do not have the proper phone, good luck trying to speak with anyone in the Viator office!

Everything but service from the tour operator was great, the agency provided us only with 1 Paris travel card instead of 2 and did not even say they were sorry. The tickets were issued for the seats not close to each other even though there were empty seats. Viator itself is great! And we still enjoyed Paris!
Reviewed by: Marina T, United States, April 2007 Note from Viator: We are very sorry about the oversight on our part, in only providing you with one Visite Paris Card. We have refunded you for the difference and apologize for the confusion.Concerning the seating on the train, this is entirely up to Eurostar, they allocate the seats. We do advise passengers who are not seated together to ask the train manager if they can change seats, this is not usually a problem if there are empty seats.
We hope that you enjoyed your day and have retained happy memories of your time in Paris.
