This tour is a must see. This was a very good evening. Seeing Vaux-le-Vicomte and the gardens in candlelight was a delight.

This was a good trip that I would recommend if you've experienced everything in Paris already and want to see something beautiful outside of the city. The castle was beautiful, but the trip wasn't quite as elegant as I expected. The tour guide was nice, but I would have preferred more time to wander on my own. The food was buffet style as a result of poor planning by the tour operators. They faxed our reservation that same day, and the company at the chateau never got the fax, so we didn't have our privately served meal. That was extremely disappointing. I felt as though I had dressed up for nothing. I wished I had worn jeans, and I really didn't feel like it was worth the high cost. Consider this trip, but consider it wisely. It was enjoyable at times but expensive for what it was, so it was not quite spectacular.

Potentially a romantic evening. Unfortunately, there was unusual traffic in Paris and we were picked up about an hour or so late. The tour guide got lost in the dark and then drove recklessly to our destination. At times the ride felt unsafe. I think we had dinner about 10pm - too late. The candlelit chateaux was a very nice setting, the dinner was marginal. This could be a good tour if things went better.
