This is an excellent tour, very easy paced. We spent most of the time at leisure, without constantly having to be here then there at certain times. The places were beautiful, the guided tours were great, and the accommodation was excellent. I highly recommend this tour.

The tour was great! We had a wonderful time in all of the cities we visited and the hotel employees were very courteous. All of the pick-ups by taxi, bus, etc. were always on schedule. The cities on this tour are beautiful and worth seeing.

This tour gives you a good feel for the country, yet allows enough free time to explore on your own.

The tour was fantastic. We particularly enjoyed Heidelberg with the lovely accommodation and very personalised tour. Our compliments to the tour guide who helped bring us closer to the history of the town.
Rothenburg was a beautiful medieval city, however, the accommodation wasn't up to par when compared with the other nights. I suspect that this was due to hotel availability during that busy week. The night watchman tour was an entertaining insight into the history of the town.
Hohenschwangau was a magical experience. I would recommend the Hotel Muller to anyone - spectacular rooms and top class service. They definitely made out stay very memorable.
The bus tours were comfortable, however, the bus was an hour late caught up in traffic on the trip from Heidelberg to Rothenburg, and we missed out on a few stops along the way. The trip from Rothenburg to Hohenschwangau was much better and we got to enjoy the various stopovers and Dinkelsbuhl and Nordlingen. Overall, the bus tours were a good way to see to country sights.
The overall trip was great. Two out of the three hotels were great; I would recommend the Muller Hotel. A word of advice: let people know they have to go to the touring office to pick up the paperwork. If you like to do it on your own this is a good tour because they have all the vouchers for you.

The trip started on a sour note, since the hotel that was supposed to be in Frankfurt was actually near the airport, with no provision for getting there or back to the meeting point. The taxi cost forty Euros one way, and it was an unexpected and unpleasant expense. The rest was as advertised, with some legs better than others, depending on the driver guide. People should understand that this tour is not a traditional guided one, but independent, with some aspects provided. Special praise for the included Night Watchman tour in Rothenburg.
