The tours were very good. The train trip from Dublin went very well. Catching the train in Galway was a bit chaotic, as there was very little time to spare between arriving at the station and the departure of the train. The bed and breakfast in Killarney was very nice with a wonderful breakfast. However, it was too far from the center of town. For people who don't mind the lengthy walk, it would be okay, but when you are traveling with people who can't walk that far, it makes for very long evenings. Three nights in Killarney is one night too many. For a first time visit to Ireland, this is an excellent way to see this part of the country if you don't rent a car.

The hosts were wonderful! Rail schedules were a bit erratic, but the hosts took it in stride and made sure we were taken care of. B&B's were great. We were allowed time to take in the local color of the sites. Wish we could have had more time in Galway.

Most of the tour was excellent. Unfortunately, some parts were poorly organized. We often had no idea where we were supposed to be or when. Very frustrating. On the whole it was a pleasant experience, but we really had to work hard in order to know what was going on due to the poor organization.
