Morocco Day Trip from Malaga to Tangier

Morocco Day Trip from Malaga to Tangier

A drive from Malaga to the southern tip of Spain forms the start of this day trip to Tangier, where you’ll board a high-speed ferry for the 60-minute crossing over to Africa. Upon arrival in Tangier, you’ll board a comfortable, air-conditioned coach for a sightseeing tour of the city. After, you’ll have a guided walking tour through the medina (old quarter), souk, and kasbah (old fortress). While strolling through Tangier, smell the scent of African spices as they waft on the salty breeze, and navigate the narrow alleyways of the medina past snake charmers, merchants, and bakers.

In the Tangier bazaar, chat with a man selling colorful carpets and offering small cups of tea, and enjoy a lunch of traditional couscous while watching a Berber dance. After lunch, at Cape Spartel, behold the Mediterranean Sea colliding with the massive Atlantic Ocean, and sip on cups of mint tea from dunes looking over the sea. For an additional upgrade, there’s even the chance to ride a camel.

On the return journey, enjoy views of the Moroccan countryside en route to the high-speed ferry, and again on the coach from southern Spain to the final Malaga stop.

Please note: From December to April, the schedule and itinerary of this trip are subject to change due to the ferry timetables and the Ramadan holiday.
