THIS IS HOLLAND is an immersive attraction that allows visitors to experience the whole of the Netherlands without leaving the capital. In addition to the main Flight Experience—a 9-minute ride that uses multi-sensory technology to simulate a flight across Holland—you can learn about the country’s origins, geography, and culture. The Basics
Visitors are guided through two introductory stages before entering the flight simulator, which uses cinematic visuals, sounds, smells, and wind, to create the illusion of free flight. Book your ticket in advance to guarantee entry at a time that suits you, or take advantage of package deals that combine THIS IS HOLLAND with other integral Amsterdam experiences—such as a canal cruise or the A’DAM Lookout—for a discounted price.

With such a high concentration of attractions, it’s easy to spend an afternoon just exploring the Overhoeks area. You can follow up your flight experience with a ride on Europe’s highest swing at the A’DAM Lookout and take time to browse the EYE Film Institute’s exhibitions, before unwinding with a drink in one of the A’DAM Toren trendy venues.
